There was work going on at the entrance but we were not inconvenienced. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the hotel was comfortable. The position is great, near the Sky Tower and shopping district, masses of restaurants nearby. Only 20 minutes free wi-fi per day in the lobby.

I've stayed in a few hotels in Auckland, this is by far the best and I won't consider trying anywhere else now. The hotel room was clean, comfortable and in good condition. It was centrally located and a short walk to the waterfront. The hotel was very accommodating and let me check in early. Perfect for anyone visiting. We we were there for a visit and visited most of the city on foot and it was not too hard. shopping and dinning are just a block away. And its a small walk to the ferry building.

Good city hotel, BUT they do not realise the importance of a good and inexpensive WiFi. When you travel you want to be able to update yourself on your emails and social media. Cannot recommend this hotel until they fixed that!

Good location in the middle of the city.

The second night I stayed at the hotel at 2:43 AM a hotel worker from housekeeping called my room to ask if I wanted bath towels. I couldn't believe the time she was calling. She seemed very apologetic but at that hour I was very confused at why she would call at all. Needless to say I couldn't fall back asleep and ended up exhausted for one of my 3 […] days in Auckland. During my trip to NZ for the Rugby World Cup, I stayed at the Crowne Plaza in Auckland on 3 separate occassions. This hotel is in the heart of the city near to the shopping on Queens Street, the Skytower and Casino. I found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. If I visit Auckland again, I will definitely choose this hotel again.

Yes, it is really in the middle of Auckland and it is easy to get to all the places in the City Centre. The staff is very friendly, breakfast is as good as it should be. All fine and I would prefare to come back again. Only parking should be included in the room charge.

A good hotel, good location, exelent service

Needed a last minute hotel in Auckland. Crowne Plaza is convenient to express airport bus (other side of the block). Nice upscale (for me) hotel. Close to the harbor and to sky tower. Reasonable restaurants close by. Hotel, was very clean, comfortable and friendly.

Our room at the Crown Plaza-Auckland was very nice....large and had everything that we needed. We were only here for one night before cruising out and we would have been happy to stay longer...the location was just perfect for us....Easy walking distance to everything....including the pier, however we took a cab for the short distance due to luggage. Definately a great place to stay and look forward to stay there again in future.
