The Eliot Hotel - Бостон

Мы останавливались в отеле в воскресенье вечером, поскольку у нас были билеты на последнюю игру Red Sox/Yankee 8/7/11. Расположение было великолепное, минут 10 ходьбы до Fenway. Сам отель был красивый – очень старый, но комфортабельный. У нас все-таки возникла небольшая проблема при заезде: хотя я бронировала номер с двумя кроватями, нам дали номер […] размера king и выдвижной кроватью. Я попросила посмотреть номер, чтобы убедиться, что выдвижная кровать подойдет для того, чтобы на ней смогли спать 2 девочки-подростка, и если нет, то можно ли было поменять номер на комнату с двумя кроватями. Они нам разрешили пойти и выяснить это, но сказали, что если мы выберем другой номер, нам придется ждать, поскольку номера не готовы. Мы прибыли примерно на 2 часа раньше времени заезда. Мы решили остановиться на номере king, потому что девочкам походит выдвижная кровать – чудесные простыни, и кровать была сравнительно удобная. Все остальное в номере тоже было прекрасным – мне понравилась отдельная зона сна, такая что каждая из нас могла смотреть то, что нравится, по телевизору! Ванная была красивая. Просто потрясающе, что время выезда было 12.00 на следующий день после игры, потому что игра продлилась аж до 00.40, и у нас была возможность поспать. В коридорах было тоже очень тихо. В общем и целом, это было потрясающее времяпровождение в The Eliot, я бы всем рекомендовала, и сама вернусь сюда. Подробнее

Фешенебельный отель в шаговой доступности от всего того, что делает Бостон великолепным городом. Гораздо лучше, чем большие отели, в случае посещения встречи в Hynes. Это просто роскошно – иметь еще и гостиную, когда путешествуешь с кем-то. Персонал очень учтивый. Хорошая цена от hotels.com сделала это пребывание возможным, и я это ценю.

Отель Eliot расположен в потрясающем месте, особенно если у Вас какие-либо дела в конференц-центре Hynes. Старый отель с померкшим лоском, но отличным костяком. Приятно просыпаться в отеле который не выглядит, как все остальные, находясь в которых, Вы не можете сказать, где вы. Мраморные ванны – милый штрих, но сломанный душ затапливал пол, если коврик […] был не на месте, чтобы впитать всю влагу. Мы с семьей провели целую неделю в Eliot. Персонал был в высшей степени расторопный и услужливый. У нас был очень комфортабельный сьют. Ванная могла быть и побольше (в нашей семье 4 человека)..но она вся была отделана мрамором, так что довольно хорошая. Я бы еще не отказалась от кофеварки в номере, но до Starbucks и Dunkin Donuts рукой подать, или можно […] заказать в номер. До Fenway, MIT, потрясающих магазинов и ресторанов можно легко дойти пешком. Также, неподалеку расположена остановка. Я бы определенно остановилась здесь вновь. Потрясающий отель. Отель The Eliot довольно приятный, милый персонал, но….ванная размером с portalav, дрянной интернет, медленной обслуживание номеров. С другой стороны, собаки допускаются бесплатно, что большая редкость, и они нам предоставили номер лучшей категории – джуниор свит. Но из-за того, что просто некуда повесить мокрое полотенце (!!), проблем с интернетом […] и медленного обслуживания, я бы вряд ли дала отелю пять звезд. Подробнее

Номера рационально спроектированы с целью обеспечить два раздельных пространства нормального размера. Ванная комната и гостиная очень комфортабельные, удобно расположенные. Кровати невероятно удобные. Номер на удивление тихий, несмотря на угловое расположение на пересечении двух главных улиц города. До Newbury Street, Public Gardens, Boston Common и […] мест, расположенных ниже, можно легко и безопасно дойти пешком. Приятная мелочь – компьютер на письменном столе – талон не работал, но было бы, наверное, замечательно, если бы работал. Персонал на ресепшн был готов оказать помощь с талонами и гугл картами в случае необходимости. Рестораны/бар дороговаты, но атмосфера приятная. Мини-бар – разумная альтернатива. Чудный отель, очень чистый…Персонал потрясающий! Комфортная кровать. Я заранее попросил в номер дополнительных подушек, и они уже ждали меня. До Fenway park на игру Sox легко дойти пешком, как и до улицы Newbury, чтобы там походить по магазинам и хорошим ресторанам. Абсолютно точно остановилась бы здесь вновь.

The hotel and location was perfect for our overnight stay w/friends in Boston. The only negative thing I'd have to say is that the room temp was, at times, uncomforable.

Great boutique hotel near Convention Center. Its on-site restaurant, Clio, was 5 star! High Recommend.

My 3 friends and I stayed in this hotel so we could be close to Hynes Convention Center for AnimeBoston. We felt a bit out of place since no one else stayed there who was going to the convention. Plus, it was a longer walk than we expected. The service was good, but I felt like I had to tip everyone, since so many things had to be done with one of […] their guys that stayed in the lobby. The Deluxe One Bedroom Suite was very roomy, and felt like a small apartment. The room was only in slight dis-repair, but I was the only one who noticed the imperfections. I stayed in this hotel for an anniversary surprise that I set up for my boyfriend. It was everything other reviewers have said. The lobby was charming, the man at the front desk pleasant, and I felt vaguely like I was stepping into a 1930s hotel in the heart of Paris. I spent a great deal of time planning this surprise, and had booked a one-bedroom […] suite. After telling the concierge about the special occasion, and requesting a room with brown silk decor (they also have toile), I was confident that this would be the perfect room. HOWEVER, the pictures on the website suggest that all of their one-bedroom suites have double french doors. This was NOT the case with my room, and I was very disappointed. The room itself was still charming, but not what I had expected. We had a view of the back alley dumpsters, which was ok as I didn't really expect us to spend much time staring out the window...but for someone who has mentioned a special surprise, and received promises that I could be accommodated in any special requests, I have to say I expected more. The Eliot is in a great location. I walked everywhere. I was upgraded to a suite which was lovely. OK, it looked out on nothing but that was fine with me. The bathroom was small but had a big shower. Comfy bed. Very quiet (I was in Room 201). The ONLY complaint is that there is no kettle in the room. I like tea before bed, etc. So I asked for a kettle, […] they gave it to me but no cup and I forgot to ask for one. I did complain to the desk on check out regarding no coffee maker or kettle in the room and they told me they do get this comment often but suggested room service. Breakfast too expensive but they did give me a 5 dollar voucher towards it. I just went over to Starbucks which was very close. Highly recommend if you get a good price especially for the location. A lovely place to stay; but avoid the rooms that back up to the elevator shaft. We found that in 512 (and likely the other -12's), there was a loud rattling of cables through the wall by the bed every time the elevators went up or down. Still an excellent property. Great/friendly service. Superb location. Two excellent restaurants in the hotel. My third time at the hotel...will return.

The Eliot was fabulous, from start to finish -- extremely comfortable beds, clean and well-maintained rooms, and extremely quiet rooms. We had a wonderful stay.

I always love this place and this stay was no different.

Our son is a Berklee student and we will always stay at the Eliot when we visit him, The staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful, the rooms are quiet and comfortable, and the neighborhood is appealing. Not to mention that the hotel welcomes our Cavalier King Charles spaniels as well!

Beautiful hotel with outstanding service. Since the hotel was light on the occupancy, they upgraded me to a suite. Fantastic room. Service was wonderful with everyone always asking what they could do for me. Old school feel in the lobby with a cubby for each room and classic metal keys for the doors. I highly recommend.

This is a terrific small hotel in the perfect location. Easy to get around, many things nearby on foot. And the staff were excellent. Will return.

Its a nice enouph hotel, especially if you are into the small quiet hotels, but for the $ there are many options that offer more than this hotel does like the Westin, Hilton, Sheridan etc… My wife and I thought we would give it a try one while visiting our daughter.

We asked the hotel to send up ice 2x ...never came. ordered wine, brought the wrong one, and then asked for a wake up call... Never came.

The Eliot is an older hotel in downtown Boston right next door to the Harvard Club of Boston. It is very well maintained and very comfortable. The hotel restaurant is quite acceptable. Our only complaint is that there was no "in-room" coffee so we had to go down to the lobby to get our early-morning coffee.

Wonderfully personable service; great location; 1st rate restaurant. Hotel has a European feel to it. Incredibly friendly, helpful staff.

In the Back Bay area, but not the very middle...close enough to enjoy Newbury St. and all of the nightlife of the area, but nice and quiet...no huge lobby full of tourists. The suites are extremely comfortable, they seem bigger than they are. Nice that you can close the french doors to the bedroom and entertain in the living room. You will feel like you are in Paris (and I've been there). But I booked this for business and it is not really set up for business. The wireless internet is unreliable and the suite has only a tiny refrigerator. The staff were WONDERFUL and made it work for me and I would DEFINITELY go back!

Unable after 2 stays to find a single fault here. Even the restaurant is perfect.

The Eliot is a tranquil oasis with excellent service and refined style. Having the Clio facility for meals is a wonderful bonus. Our dinner there was perfect...every course, presentation, service. Breakfast was calm and quiet with everything one needed to start the day. The Eliot Hotel is in a ideal location in Boston, however we could never consider staying there again. The maintance of the Hotel and cleanliness was poor, and the Cleaning staff depends on heavily fragranced deodorizers to mask the odors and the poor hygienic condition of the facility. If you have asthma or any type of respiratory condition or allergy […] problem be prepared to be much more ILL after your stay at THE ELIOT HOTEL. The solution offered by the staff was to open windows in NOVEMBER and place fans in the windows to exhaust the odors. The Manager informed us that the second night would be in another room without the odors. When we returned from our conferences, we were in the same room, and were informed all of the other rooms in our class had been sold out having been told that there would be many rooms available for that night. Unfortunately there were no rooms in the area, and we had to stay in this poor quality (their King Suite) another night, with windows open and FANS exhausting the odors and fragrances. the ac unit in my room was weak. The remote control fo rthe television did not work. I got in my room late and really did not have the patience to call room service to have them come fix it. Overall though, beautiful, classic hotel with a sophisticated feel in lobby and the room was very nice too. Very clean feeling.
