The front desk person said they are renovating in June, I hope so. The sofa bed my son tried to sleep on had absolutely no bar for support, the mattress literally fell through the sleeper portion. I stepped on tacks where the rug was no longer attached to the floor - twice.

I have stayed at this hotel many times in the past but will never stay there again. We were having a get together for a couple birthdays and enjoyed a nite out but upon returning to the hotel to sleep we were greeted by security and treated like children when trying to get to our room. We chose the hotel based on past holiday experiences at Quality Suites as well as the location in downtown Windsor. Upon arrival our first impression was the hotel needed a makeover. Our room was in the same state with noticeable damages to doors and washrooms from previous visitors. The repair work was poor to say the least. During the course of the […] evening our floor was over run by other young partying visitors who partied throughout the halls until 5am. These same partyers continued to bang on our door looking to gain entry. The floors had surveillance cameras to monitor but no hotel action was taken. We advised staff of our displeasure and were met with only they were sorry for our experience. We will be certain to pass on our experiences to others to prevent them experiencing the same. Sat night the place turned into a dorm party, complete with a beer pong game in our hallway. The elevators were not working when we returned to the hotel in the evening. We were escorted by a 'security guard' up the six flights of stairs to our room. The escort was required as the stairway was packed with young partiers. The security guard however, […] appeared the same age as the rowdier guest and was rude with us. Well after 1 AM and two calls to the front desk requesting police be called, things finally settled in the hallway. Aside from the security guard, the staff were very good. Even the housekeeper provided excellent, friendly service. The suite was clean and very roomy. Room was a great size and had all the basic items needed such as fridge. Although it was a bit outdated, the stay was enjoyable. The location could not be better. I would recommend this hotel with anybody looking for a cheap place to stay downtown Windsor.

Right across the street from the parking garage, where you pay to park as there is no public parking available on the street.. Room carpet was stained, dirty and unkept. Bath fixtures were separated from the wall. Lights out. Window screen was ancient and full of holes.

Room was large with a separate living and sleeping room, as well as a table and four chairs. The bathroom was clean, and so was the large, comfortable, king sized bed. The entire staff were helpful in accommodating our needs concerning our 11-year old golden retriever. Because he has cataracts, we had to bring him along. Hotel staff allayed all of our misgivings and made our stay (and our dog's!) very enjoyable - thanks! We'll be back!!

The fridge was not working but every thing else was great. Access to the parking is not easy if you can't find spot in the first level specially if you are handicap like me.

I stayed 4 nights on business. Hotel was clean and tidy but internet access was a problem throughtout my stay. Monday night I could not get any access. Called the help line and was told router that covered my room was off line but it would be fixed. Tuesday and Wednesday night access as painfully slow. The hotel is old , musty, dirty stained carpets, dirty stained furniture, non fitted sheets on the bed just a top sheet on the mattress. Room was non smoking but smelled of stale smoke. The cleaning staff left our room door propped open all day, exposing our valuables to theft. The coffee table had sticky lstains on it from previous occupants that had not been cleaned.

Everything would have been fine if it wasn't so cold in there i had 2 wear gloves and socks 2 bed. I was also dissapointed that even though they had my credit card on file i was locked on making long distance phone calls. And 2 top it off the whole hotel was cold from the foyea to the elevators. They need 2 invest in some good heating!

There was a bottle of water at one bedside which was a nice touch but it had a tag that said it cost 2.99, not such a nice touch! Bottom line -- won't stay there again!! This hotel is in a excellent location if going to a detroit hockey game. The hotel staff was very nice and the hotel was very clean. The room was great, it was very clean. I would rate this hotel a 10. I would recommond this hotel to anyone. I would stay there again. The room had everything you need.
