The hotel was nice and clean. The decor helps to give it a homey feeling that helps you to feel at ease and relax. The location is great because it is not too far away from Downtown Savannah. I would definitely recommend and stay at this hotel again.

This hotel was great. I plan on staying here again whenever I return to Savannah. The staff was very friendly. We stayed in a 1 bedroom suite, the room was very clean, I had no issues with anything inside. The indoor pool was great and also the workout room was clean and very nice. If you want to keep from paying the downtown prices, this is a hotel […] that would be a great option. The outdoor patio area was a great place to just go outside and chill. The front desk personnel were cold, not welcoming. The door leading to our bedroom, had hardware that was hanging by one screw and did not shut securely. Our bedroom had very sheer curtains and since we were on street level, we were concerned that someone could walk by and look in. Killed the romance for the evening.

Nice location - very accessible to main routes and within walking distance to several malls and grocery store locations. The free evening reception is actually a light meal available Mon thru Thurs. We booked this hotel because it was about half the price of the hotels located in downtown savannah, and we really weren't sure what to expect. When we arrived we were very pleasantly surprised. The hotel room was very nice and impeccably clean, and the hotel staff was extremely polite and helpful. During the day we drove around and did some sightseeing. […] It was an easy drive from the hotel to the historic district. At night we took taxis down to the bars. Our only complaint was that our room was on the road side of the hotel and it was quite noisy when the traffic was busy. We asked about a change, but they were unable to accommodate us. Otherwise, a comfortable and generous space.

I wish me and my family would have stayed here the whole week we were in the area. I bought a Groupon for a resort on St. Simon for two nights and it was awful compared to this Marriot. The staff was helpful and nice. The suite we stayed in was clean and nicely decorated. The pull out bed was comfortable for our children and our bed was super comfortable. […] Closet space was great. The kitchen area was stocked with what we needed, even more so than the resort we stayed at. The only downfall of our room was the small bathroom but it wasn't really a big issue to us. It is not in Downtown Savannah so you would have to drive and park to sight see but if you book a trolley tour most of those places have free parking. Also the rates at the visitor center aren't bad. My children loved the pool and my husband enjoyed the hot tub. I was doing laundry, which is only on the second floor for some reason... The free breakfast was wonderful too. My husband had a waffle, my oldest had eggs, youngest had fruit and cereal and I had french toast and sausage. We were all happy with it. Over all it was a great stay. I will definitely tell anyone going to Savannah with kids to stay here! Подробнее

This was one of the most enjoyable stays I have experienced in a hotel in a very long time. I had my Grandson with me and there was plenty for him to do to keep busy, The room was very nice and neat and clean, My husband commented that he wanted to stay an extra night if we were not on a tight schedule. My sons and I loved this property, clean, comfortable, chic. It is right off of Abercorn arond the corner from a Fresh Market wehere we bought food and just a mile from Oglethorpe Mall where we shopped. We make it our home in our next visit to Savannah.

This hotel far exceeded our expectations. We have stayed at Marriott Brand hotels from Coast to Coast and this Residence Inn is now on the top of our list as a favorite. The staff was Outstanding and the Complimentary "Hot Breakfast" was Great. We stayed in a 1 Bedroom unit and we could not have been more pleased with this room. The Decor was Phenominal, […] very clean and updated. Beautiful courtyard and the location was convenient to everything. It took us 10 minutes to get to the Historic District/River St. and about 20 minutes to the Beach at Tybee. We will definitely return to this hotel and would recommend it to everyone!! Подробнее

My family had a very relaxing stay. the staff was very accommodating. We used the outdoor facilities for a dinner. The grill was in great condition and cooked the food to perfection. If we are back in Savannah again, we would consider this hotel again.

I liked the fact the hotel had a Monday thru Thursday happy hour. The beverages & food were plentiful. It took the sting out of having to get cleaned-up & leaving the hotel to find a meal after your arrival. It was one of the reasons we chose this hotel. It wasn't the newest. In fact it needed updating. If ambience is important to you don't lodge here. […] The rooms were kept clean and the hotel staff was friendly though. The door lock malfunctioned in our room but the management staff didn't hesitate in finding us other accomodations. That is a plus to us. Many hotels have a poor regard for the budget the traveler often making them suffer without thought of compension for a bad experience. The hotel is right off of the highway thus easily assessible if you're driving. There is a strip mall on the corner from the hotel. It has a grocery store & a restaurant/ grill with cafe seating that serves american bistro fare. There's a Talbots, Coldwater Creek & Joseph A. Bank too. The larger mall has Belks etc. We actually taxied in from the airport and used public transportation throughout our stay. It requires a little walking but a short distance from your room to the bus stop and you're a fifteen minute ride from the Historic District. Beware though. The map in the Savannah Visitors Bureau is old & not to scale. It shows the Dot Shuttle route (a free transportion loop) passing close to the hotel. It doesn't any more! I guess we're not "fussy" travelers as long as its clean and quiet. Подробнее
