В номере отсутствуют светильники, будильник, электрические розетки (одна в туалетном столике в ванной, другая за телевизором (недоступна)); с улицы доносится громкий шум, внутри крепко пахло освежителем воздуха. Тем не менее, отель прекрасно расположен, а душ в номере был безупречен и со свежем кафелем. Заказал номер в этом отеле после прочтения всех отзывов, так как цены в нем были на 100 долларов в день меньше, чем в соседних. Стены в отеле очень тонкие, но мне к счастью, удалось получить номер на 3 (верхнем) этаже, и не приходилось слушать скрипы пола сверху (мой собственный пол скрипел). Постельное покрывало было рваное и изношенное, а занавески […] закрывали все окно. В целом, номер был небольшой и очень изношенный, и запах в нем стоял не из приятных. В первое утро мне позвонила женщина, которая жила в моем номере передо мной, и сказала, что во время пребывания пострадала от укусов клопов. Я проявил предельную осторожность в этом плане, но ни одного клопа не видел. Я уже два дня как дома, и вся моя одежда и сумки по-прежнему находятся на балконе, так как я по-прежнему боюсь, что мог что-нибудь подцепить в отеле. Рядом с отелем был "Marriott", а через два квартала находится "Fisherman's Wharf", что есть хорошо. Если отправитесь на Union Square, попросите водителя поехать через ул. Jones (Jones Street). Ну и дыра! Грязный, тесный, запущенный номер. Внутри вонь, и нет бытовых вещей. За чашками/стаканами приходилось спускаться в крошечный вестибюль. Не вернусь.

Это было описание в двух словах. Отель находится в нескольких минутах ходьбы от достопримечательностей и транспорта. Управляющий был очень отзывив и дружелюбен. Во время пребывания мы ни разу не воспользовались нашей машиной, а стоянка в отеле стоит всего 15 долларов в день, тогда как в других отелях цена была 45 за сутки.

I liked the hotel in that it was affordable and withing walking distance from Pier 39. There were also a few bars to go to that were close to the hotel which made it nice. It's within walking distance to the Wharf and meeting place. The price was the most reasonable found in that area. Management was pleasant and tried to make the stay pleasant. No restaurant, but many close.

Avoid at all costs - it is not fit to be even called a Motel. Curtains were broken and did not close properly,two chairs in room both broken,toilet leaked and carpet was wet as a result. Could hear people in the room above move around. Surround and entrance to place should have been a warning sign for what rest of place would be like. The location was perfect for us. It was very near Lombard St. and close enough for us to walk to Pier 39. The person at the desk was such a nice guy and was very helpful. Our room was cold and our heater was broken so he brought us a portable one. Hotel is not maintained, shower curtain & bedding was torn & soiled, heater, remote & vending machines did not work, they charge you additional for parking on top of your room fee, bad, bad, bad!!!

This property is a total mess and thats being kind. The people that rated it with 4 stars are eather famile or on durgs. The property is old and that is ok however they have let it run down and the rooms are in need of lost of maintenance. Although the hotel isn't extravagant, the location is good especially with the price. The main complaint I have is the parking lot is too small so you have to back out into the street.

This Inn is more like a motel than an Inn. The rooms are tiny, and they didn't have enough beds in our room. We cancelled the 2nd night and went to a different hotel.

Small room, but clean. All the staff were great! The location and price made it well worth any shortcomings. DO NOT EAT at the Pergamino Cafe, down the street, it was horrible!

They charged me every day with $17 for parking. The manager every morning knock on my door asking me to pay, with very rude manners.

It is obvious you get what you pay for. However the last thing I was expecting (besides on how dirty, out of maintenance, noisy) was to the guy (I guess it was the manager) to knock at my door every day yelling that I havent pay the parking. Since I pay the nights through hotels.com, they trickly dont include $18 for daily parking, which they collect […] everyday knocking at your door and they wait outside for you to hand them the money. The staff were great and we really appreciated the 12PM check out. It's 2 blocks from the wharf, which made it worth while. It was fairly clean with the exception of some cigarette burns in the bed spread. (In our non-smoking room.) The bathroom was very clean. Hotel location was fantastic, but we had a horrible smell which we think was coming from the carpet.

I gave this hotel a 5 because we knew it was a lower grade hotel, but it was a nice lower grade & the neighborhood & location are great! Crappy little hotel that is perfect if you are hardly there and it is within walking distance to the Wharf. Don't expect too much and you won't be disapointed.

This was a great location for sites at the wharf as well as to get busses, etc. to go to the other places we needed to go. We had a very small room and certainly not the nicest motel we've been too. You get what you pay for. Needed to carry our luggage to the 2nd floor. Certainly no frills!!!

It's all about the location. To the hotel's credit, it is clean, my bed was comfy, and the desk staff very polite and helpful. We stayed there to do a swim race, and the proximity is perfect. Nothing fancy.

We choosed this hotel for our second stay in san francisco on the same holliday only because of it's location close to Pier 33 (ca. 1 km, 5 minutes as ped.) where alcatraz cruises is located. Otherwise I would have choosen a different location to stay. The free WiFi is very slow. The staff at the front desk was not very friendly. We stayed at this Hotel for the Location & parking, not for the amenities. It was close to Aquatic Park which we wanted for the Alcatraz Swim event, and the parking cost $15. Most Hotels in the area charge $45 for daily parking. That in itself made it worth it. If you are going to spend any time at all in your room, this is not the hotel for you. The bed was so uncomfortable, the ceiling looked like it was going to collapse, no A/C, alarm clock or even a soap dish in the shower. The room smelled musty and the staff was less then helpful. The only thing good I can say was that it was close to the Wharf and it had cable TV.

This was an adequate hotel for a couple of nights stay. A bit more maintenance in the room could be done. Hair dryer was ripped from the wall and there was a big hole in the bathroom door. Rooms have been renovated with comfortable beds & linens. Location was very convenient for our needs.

Great location. Room was small and ill-equiped; IE no reading lamps. Hotel grounds were dirty with an obvious lack of maintenance. We will not stay there again.

Obviously for 1/2 the price of surrounding hotels, it makes sense. If you are trying to impress your travel mates, this is the wrong place. My friend and I are used to some shady places after backpacking the world together, but this place was right up there. THE FACILITY IS A BIT RUN DOWN, BUT REASONABLY CLEAN? THE LOCATION IS GREAT FOR ACCESS TO FISHERMAN'S WHARF ETC.

You get what you pay for and nothing more. The room was affordable and clean. It's close to the pier so for the price it served its purpose

This is dirty and bad maintained place. They charge additionally fifteen bucks for parking (above room price). Try other hotels.

If your looking for a clean place, with a friendly staff, near the wharf, this might be the place for you. We spent our time exploring San Francisco and only used our room for sleeping and showering. The hotel could not be closer to all the great places in San Francisco. It is right in the heart of Fisherman's Warf, Gharadelli Square and not far from the finacial district, China town, and Golden Gate.

Friendly staff and a great loacation. Reminds me of a smaller European hotel. Nothing fancy for sure but who stays in your room in San Francisco.
