This hotel has did major reconstruction and I love it, I love when hotel remodel, it shows me that they not only care about the hotel but the people that stay in it.

This hotel is horriable. It was advertised as a pet friendly hotel. We were there no longer than 5 minutes just getting our bags in the room, when the dog barked. We were told we could not leave the dog in the hotel room attended. So, we went out to eat and took the dog with us and had to leave him in the car while we ate, which ruine my dinner because […] I was afraid for the dog in the car. Mind you the dog is a little 20 lb poodle. Also, there were half size pillows on the beds, we asked for more and were told there were no more in the hotel other guests had stolen them and they were waiting for new ones. Also, I asked for three connecting rooms on the ground floor, 1 with 2 queen beds and 2 with 1 king bed. We were given no adjoining rooms and the room that was suppose to have 2 queen beds had 2 double beds. The pepsi vending machine was empty, the box springs were all wrapped in plastic with duct tape like they had had an infestion of bugs, the breakfast was modest and the front desk help including the manager on the 3-11 shift were horrible, rude, and non accomandating. Everything was good just that the bath tub faucet dripped all the time and the refriidgerator didn't work, other than that it was nice.

The hotel staff was friendly and professional, the room was clean and comfortable. My only complaints were that the refrigerator was a little noisy and the ground floor window looked right into an apartment complex which impacted my sense of privacy..

Personell extremely friendly and most accomadating,they could not do enough. Place was fairly quiet. I would recommend this hotel . Thank you for a pleasant stay will definetly use when going back to Dover area again.. John & Dorothea

The worst stay of my life. Failed to provide adjopining rooms as promised. Our two rooms were unavailable until 3:30 and 4:30 PM. Lights didn't work in bathroom and AC wouldn't get the rooms below75d before cycling off. Rooms came without towels, then towels delivered were still wet from the lauhdry. They staff was incompetent. Reservations were made solely for the purpose of location to the racetrack. I was disappointed that the room was not cleaned upon our return one evening. When I called the desk, I was told housekeeping staff had left for the day. When I asked for another room, another employee came to clean our room.

Easy access to main events.

This served as a stopping point on our trip south. Close to the highway, but quiet. Room was clean and spacious. The breakfast was great because you could make waffles, instead of just muffins.

This is a good location fairly close to Dover Downs. Not as close as we would have liked. Bed, Bathroom, table, fridge all in good condition. But king size was shoved in a room too small. No way to get in our out of the bed on that side. AC unit was right 2 inches away from the bed. No room to move. Highly recomended, nice clean room and plenty of space in the room ecspecially with a little one. Had a great breakfast with nice waffles.

I understand the economic value of shutting down the A/C when the room is un-occupied but the fact is A/C does more than remove the heat it removes the moisture. The room had a sever smell of damp furnishings. I set the A/C to high fan and low temp to try to solve it but the cleaning crew turned it to low and 80deg. I'll not be back.

Second time staying....very satisfied.....help was extremely helpful especially Sandy....I had some issues with some of my things lifting them and getting them into room....Sandy was awesome...hotel was clean and comfortable....but I thought beds were a little too soft.....it was a good overnight stay

wifi is unsecure. my sheet was stained in something red????? How did the staff let that happen?

Only 1 night but the service and employee were very nice.

I've stayed at a lot of value hotels, and this Comfort Suites is my favorite of them so far. The service is so kind and friendly, the room very comfortable, the wi-fi worked great, and there is even a laundromat for guest use. Recommended.

Old enough that it looks dirty and poorly maintained. You just did not walk on the carpets or bathroom floors without shoes on. Breakfast was very meager. Overall, not a great place, except for the location.

Overall I would stay here again, it was close to everything I needed and more!!! Great chose.

We are very pleased with our stay at Comfort Suites Dover. The hotel has been recently renovated, everything was in great shape and very clean. The hotel was not clean at all. Our bedspread was stained, had ink marks on it and was basically dirty. The hotel itself had an unappealing odor to it (even though it is smoke-free.) I was equally not impressed with the person who checked us in - very impersonal and not very friendly.

great stay would stay again

We stopped over in Dover to visit the Casino. The location is great...just a couple minutes and you are there and the money you save by not staying at the Casino is substantial! We got down to the breakfast just as it was closing and the staff was very kind and let us get our food before cleaning up...it was a very good breakfast!! The hotel was noisy-I could hear guests above me and in the hallways too clearly.They were installing new carpeting which might cure the problem. Wish they had an exercise room. Desk clerks very nice. OK for an overnight stay but nothing special.

I especially enjoyed the space in the room including the large bathroom. All the amenities were complimentary and I did not want for anything.

My only complaint was the Refrigerator and Microwave, neither worked and ask to have it fixed but never was taken care of on this trip.

Check in was quick and easy. Restuarant right in front of the hotel. Bed was totally uncomfortable, The bathroom sink was so cracked, that someone tried to spackle it......you could see where that also did not work as a repair. Now for the kicker: From the time we checked in to hotel, there was NOISE! People were slamming doors all night long!! As soon […] as you drifted off to sleep, someone would slam a door, and startled the heck out ouf you. you could here loud talking as if they were right in the room with you!
