Замечательно. Тихо, уютно. Доброжелательный персонал. Стоит на дороге из Венеции в Падую Так что мы и в Падую съездили.Добираться до отеля лучше от вокзала в Венеции, чем в Местре.

Свежий ремонт, учтивый персонал, континентальный завтрак. Своя парковка на внутренней территории. Кондиционирование, видимо, центральное и поэтому пока что все спали с открытыми окнами. Из отеля удобно добираться автобусом до Венеции и обратно - остановка близко с отелем (удобно если не хочется заморачиваться с парковкой машины на общем паркинге в венеции).

Ездили с ребенком (12 лет) на 4 дня. Очень удобно расположен - в асмом центре, отдельные слова благодарности хозяев отеля - приятные, добрые люди. Расставались и даже плакали, всегда готовы помочь, поговорят, подскажут или порекомендуют. Семейная обстановка. От отеля 3 минуты до причала и через час уже в аэропорту, удобно и быстро. Главное, вышел из отеля и ты рядом со всеми главными достопримечательностями и магазинами. Огромное спасибо хозяевам отеля!!! Будем рекомендовать друзьям. Недорогой интернет wi-fi, внизу ресторан с лучшими винами и огромный выбор рыбы!

Отель расположен не в самой Венеции, но добраться до нее не составляет труда: каждые 10 мин от остановок около отеля проходят автобусы № 5,12 и 19. Рекомендую идти на остановку в сторону заправки - она ближе, чем та, что в сторону Венеции. Билеты можно купить на стойке администратора (стоит около одного евро). Таким образом до Венеции всего 10 минут езды на общественном транспорте. Причем отель в два раза дешевле, чем на самих островах. Номера в отеле стандартные 4* с одним минусом - запах старости от ковров. В отзывах других людей это тоже замечено. Спасает проветривание) Рядом находится большой парк, но погулять по нему не было времени. Завтрак тоже стандарт для 4*, без изысков, но очень сытный.

The Hotel Gabriella Sandwirth in Venice occupies a 14th century palazzo, furnished in period style with Murano glass, and overlooking the Bacino di San Marco with magnificent views over Venice and the lagoon. It is located on the Riva Degli Schiavoni, 150 meters from Arsenale vaporetto stop. Corte Gabrielli Restaurant - Offers romantic dining in the terracotta painted courtyard beneath trees. In the evenings tables are candlelit and the trees are hung with lanterns. In cooler weather, meals are served in the traditionally-decorated dining room featuring large Murano glass chandeliers. Serves typical Venetian cuisine with fish specialities. Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
American Bar - Serves cocktails throughout the day. Retro style decor with polychrome marble walls. Drinks and snacks also served outside on the waterfront terrace.
Lido, two kilometres away, (15 minutes by waterbus from the Arsenale stop, 150 metres from the hotel) is the recreation and beach area of Venice and offers sporting and leisure opportunities. From the waterbus stop, the beach is a five-minute bus journey or 15-minute walk.

Отличнейший отель! Мы выехали немного раньше с женой брата перед нашим круизом. Хороший завтрак "по-итальянски", кофе превосходный! Мы познакомились с владельцем отеля, Каролиной, и она показала нам отель. Беатрис очень помогла нам и вызвала такси к нашему кораблю в день отъезда. В нашем номере был крохотный балкончик, выходивший на Esplanade. Во время […] нашего пребывания, в Венеции была зафиксирована самая теплая погода за 20 лет! В номере был кондиционер и маленький холодильник, но нам его вполне хватило. Лучшим местом в отеле была веранда на крыше в середине дня и вечером. Мы брали напитки в баре внизу и поднимались на веранду смотреть на город, обдуваемые легким ветерком. Отель был рядом со всем вокруг, поэтому мы его и выбрали. Он без сомнения прекрасен, причем всю красоту замечаешь даже в мельчайших деталях. Я выбрал отель по трем причинам: расположение, бесплатный завтрак и веранда на крыше. ОЧЕНЬ доволен! "Изумительное дружелюбие"
Я останавливался в этом отеле всего лишь на двое суток, когда был здесь по делам, но я рекомендую этот отель и для более длительного пребывания, например, в отпуске. Персонал исключительно дружелюбен и приветлив. Номера просторные, в отличие от других отелей подобного класса в этом районе. Веранда на крыше хорошо подходила для утреннего кофе, вина в […] обед, или как место для работы (здесь тоже есть интернет). "Номер, хорошо походящий для самоубийства"
Отель очень далек от своего 4х-звездного статуса, если мы не будем учитывать всякие общаги с хибарами. Не имея других достоинств, кроме как своего соседства с остановкой Arsenale vaporetto и близостью к площади Сан-Марко, этот отель следует даже не подновлять, а сразу сносить. Из "приятного": две неудобные кровати сдвинуты вместе, чтобы это выглядело, […] как двуспальная кровать, но промежуток в 15 сантиметров между ними остается, так что это такой же обман, как и фотографии номера на сайте отеля. Мрачно выглядящая комната, тусклое освещение и затиры на стенах; вырванная из журнала фотография в дешевой пластиковой рамке на стене - единственный элемент декора номера. Мебель не менялась с середины прошлого века; выглядит не мило и старинно, а бесхозно и депрессивно. В номере были отчетливо слышны скрипящие звуки лифта безвкусно зеленого цвета, прекращавшего хождение лишь на пару ночных часов. Огромная ванная с феном, привинченным к стене, от которого больше шума, чем сушки; такие еще в 1945 году были, чья-то волосня на неиспользованном рулоне туалетной бумаги, вроде не такая старая. Персонал совершенно не услужлив, не придерживал двери, когда я заходил с чемоданами в обоих руках, а ночью выключал свет на ресепшн, как специально, чтобы я заблудился по пути от входа в отель к лифту. Мы смылись из этой мрачной обители с первыми лучами солнца, поэтому не можем оценить качество пищи и напитков в отеле. Однако, кроме садика на крыше, отель совершенно непригоден - сумасшедшие расценки на проживание не соотносятся с качеством предоставляемого обслуживания, а 4х-звездный статус отеля (и его рекламные фотографии в интернете) - наглый обман потребителя. "Прекрасно провели время"
Отель превосходен! Мы приехали пораньше, и смогли заселиться. Окна номера выходили во внутренний дворик, поэтому было довольно тихо. Номер был рядом с лестницей к садику на крыше. ПОТРЯСАЮЩИЙ ВИД! Отличное расположение. Совсем рядом с речным трамваем и площадью Сан-Марко. Персонал отеля дружелюбен и любезен. У нас был запланирован вылет рано утром 25.04, […] и отель даже предложил нам завтрак в 4.30 утра! Сытный и достойный завтрак. Номер чистый (пол из жесткой древесины, поэтому кое-где попадались клочья пыли, но ничего особенного), БОЛЬШАЯ и чистая ванная! Мне понравился отель, я обязательно сюда вернусь (когда снова смогу заглянуть в Венецию), и всем своим родным и знакомым буду рекомендовать отель Gabrielli Sandwirth. Подробнее
"Хорошо и удобно расположен к маршрутам водного транспорта"
Традиционно простоватый отель с мелкими, но чистыми номерами. Кровати едва удобные, но для одной ночевки сойдут. Наш номер выходил окнами на воду, с отличным видом. Минусом этого было то, что многи транспортные суда были пришвартованы под нашим окном, и мы часто просыпались от частого шума проплывающих и сталкивающихся бортами лодок. В следующий приезд […] поселюсь в более тихом номере в глубине отеля, с видом на сад. Мы пересаживались на круизный лайнер. поэтому удачно расположились в этом отеле; можно поймать the Alilaguna shuttle и речной трамвай по Гранд-Каналу. Расположение отеля превзошло наши ожидания. Речной трамвай останавливается прямо у порога. Совсем рядом с площадью Сан-Марко и Via Garibaldi, где превосходные рестораны. Персонал очень любезен и услужлив, и они подсказали мне кое-какие хорошие рестораны и интересные районы города, не обремененные туристами. Отель прекрасен (немного только бы подкрасить). […] Легкий скромный завтрак подавался в чудном внутреннем дворике. Есть отличная веранда на крыше с видом на Гранд-Канал вдалеке. В номере был телевизор и кондиционер, но только на бумаге - я так и не смог их включить, впрочем, мне они были без надобности. "Ни рыба, ни мясо"
Кровати очень твердые, интернет в лобби отеля только по очень высоким расценкам, завтрак не впечатлил, а кофе не добиться раньше 7.15 утра. Подойдет тем, кому по нраву отель без излишних прибамбасов. Поймите меня правильно, номера здесь чисты, и я останавливался в куда худших отелях.

Located in the Riva degli Schiavoni area (where the tourist boats depart for Murano, etc.), the Gabrielli Sandwith shares the Grand Canal views of luxury properties such as the Danieli and Londra Palace. It has not been recently updated, so it offers a "reminder" of opulence at a much lower price. It has the formal dining room and vast lounging areas […] of the grand hotels of Europe. The outdoor dining and rooftop garden are unbeatable on nice days. The hotel staff retains an air of sometimes-stuffy formality although the old palazzo has long lost its sparkle. "Almost a disaster, then great!"
We booked a triple. The first night we were given 2 very small, adjoining rooms -- the two beds in the first took up most of the room. One had to walk through the second room (which had the third bed) to get to the bathroom. The next morning I complained and offered to pay more for an upgrade. Good location to many main tourist areas. Clean but not a 4 star hotel, even by European standards....would rate at a 2 (maybe)??. Very old, would be extremely warm in summer, (by construction, this hotel was composed of many different houses , in years gone by (no air conditioning of course). Since I read many of the reviews for this hotel, I was prepared for the differences between a 4 star hotel in Europe. This hotel needs some update in the general room and as with many European hotels, the pictures on their website are a bit deceiving. "Quite Lacking...."
However convenient to be on the water front, service lacked as they were tired at 8pm in the evening, beds were super uncomfortable. The breakfast was adequate and the restaurants close to the hotel were amazing! Hotel overall would not recommend.

The position of this hotel was ideal. We took a private water taxi and it stopped right out front. Public water transfer is too far away. There is a public water taxi stop right out front which made it easy for us to get to the port when it was time for our cruise to leave. There is a roof top garden and sitting area from which there is a great view of the water. We were there at the time of a large festival where the water is full, and I mean full, of boats and a huge fireworks display. We were able to book seats on the roof which was spectacular. Breakfast was included in the cost. We also ate dinner at the hotel and the food was good. All the large cruise ships pass by the hotel on their way to sea. It is very easy to get lost in Venice and we saw a lot of people having to drag their suitcases up the steps of the many bridges trying to find their way to the hotels. The only bad comment would be the A/C. It was very hot while we were there and the A/C was not that good. Our experience of Venice was wonderful and I would recommend this hotel. Подробнее

Really excellendt place to stay in Venice - very good location. Within 5 mins of St Mark's Sq, and less to the narrow streets with great restaurants and great shopping. The hotel itself could probably do with a make-over, but that is part of its charm. Staff friendly and helpful. Only had two slight cribs - if you have a room looking onto the water […] in front there is endless noise - all night, from the coming and going of the boats mostly. So if you are a light sleeper, it might be better to forego the beautiful view in favour of some sleep. Breakfast is just OK - could be improved on. I'd recommend it, and will stay there again. "Gabrielli Sandwirth Hotel, Venice"
The hotel is on the same wide water front walkway as St Mark's & the Doge's Palace. It is next to a water taxi stop, so no need to drag heavy cases if you take a (shared) taxi from the airport. Also close to Arsenale vaporeto stop, though this will take much longer. The room was of adequate size, facing into the courtyard. The bathroom was a good size, […] with a bath and good strength shower. The Weather was not hot enough to eat in the courtyard, or visit the garden. The Roof terrace was pleasant, and the bar waiter happy to bring drinks up to it. All the staff were very friendly, and had a better level of english than my italian. Breakfast was varied and plentiful, with good strong coffee enough to set you up for a day of walking. The Sandwirth was one of the nicest hotels I've ever stayed at. Everything was topnotch. The staff was very accommodating and welcoming. The hotel restaurant is outstanding. Hotel staff take full charge of toting your luggage...you only have to unpack when you arrive and to pack up to leave. I'd come back here anytime! "Rooms are tiny"
It was touted as 4 star. The rooms are no bigger than a closet. It reminds of a hostel and not a four star hotel. The hotel is a very convenient location. At best this is a 2 star hotel.

Das Hotel hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Auch haben wir ein grosses Zimmer mit Sicht zur Lagune erhalten. "Wonderfull location, but totally run down"
This was obviously an old palace, with some beautifull remains in some of the common parts. The team is nice and gentle with also an old flavour style (though the restaurant they advised us as "a typical trattoria where locals gather" what we were looking for, turned out to be just a tourist trap). But the rooms are dreadfull, extremely smalls and dark, […] not very clean, with very cheap materials. The bed was so uncomfortable that, for the very first time of my life, I had to put the mattress on the floor, which was les painfull than the iron cage of the bed ! Like in most places in Venise, the price looks idiotic when compared to what you can get in most cities for the same - but the situation on the Riva dei Schiavoni is fantastic. However, you can find far better for the same cost in supposedly lower category hotel - which should be in fact upgraded as this hotel shall never be rated 4 stars, 2 stars being already a question. "Anbefales!!!"
Vi reiste fra flyplassen med båt (tok ca. 1 time). Hotellet har perfekt beliggenhet på havna. Hyggelig betjening. Litt små rom, men rent og pent. Flott frokostrom med mulighet for å sitte ute. Hotellet har også en takterasse med nydelig utsikt som det er mulig å benytte. Den siste stjernen var nok for beliggenheten. Men vi storkoste oss!

Als Venedigliebhaber war ich schon viele Male dort, das Gabrielli Sandwirth Hotel hatte für mich mit Abstand das schlechteste Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. "Sentralt - med takterrasse og liten bakhage"
Godt fornøyd. En times reise med båt etter flybuss. Lett å finne - sentralt beliggende. Stille om natten. Eneste jeg savnet - vannkoker på rommet og bedre brød til frokost (litt tørt - kunne friskes opp dersom det fantes en brødrister). Totalinntrykk: veldig positivt!

Das Hotel liegt nicht weit entfernt vom Markusplatz und bietet u. a. einen schönen Ausblick auf den Canale di S. Marco. Das Frühstücksbuffet war zufriedenstellend, der Service freundlich.

Sophisticated hotel with an real italian atmosphere. Beautiful, charming, clean room. The exquisite breakfast was served in the garden by gentlemen in white jackets. All inn all, the staff was always smiling and polite. Whatever you asked for, nothing seem to be a problem. The hotel is situated at the end of the canal grande, 5 minutes walk from Basilica […] San Marco. Even though the hotel is situated very central, inside it was all silence. The only thing I found strange was that they charge you 6 € for using the wireless internet in the lobby (!!!). Vi parkerte på San Marco parkeringshus, og gikk til hotellet. En lang og innviklet tur! Hotellet var koselig og litt gammelt. Hotellrommet var fint med litt antikke møbler, fint med litt kultur på hotellrommet også! Frokosten var litt minimal, men den smakte godt den også. Stort sett fornøyd!

flere som har bodd her synes deter rart hotellet har 4 stjerner, men hotellet hat det som trengs: egne bad på rommet (med stort badekar). Room service, minibar. tv. Personal.et prater bra engelsk mm og er behjelpelige med konsertbiletter etc.

Nära till sevärdheter som platsen San Marco. Trevlig personal och bra service. Dock ingen AC på rummet, och vid 30 graders värme kändes inte det så kul...

Fomos muito bem recebidos pela Dona Carolina dona desse hotel. Ela nos instalou u em um quarto com vista para o Grande Canal. Excelente. O café da manhã tambem é muito bom. Ele não fica muito proximo da Praça de San Marco ( três paradas do Vaporetto), mas Veneza é uma cidade linda para se andar. Procure não ir no inverno quando a cidade fica com mal […] cheiro. Hotellet har ett utmärkt läge utmed vattnet. Från takterassen har har man en fantastisk vy över de delar av staden som känns igen på många vykort. De flesta rummen har inte utsikt mot vattnet utan mot små trånga gårdar, vilket ger en känsla av instängdhet och undran över hur svenska brandskyddsföreskrifter kan efterlevas här. "Carletto hotel - Treviso"
The hotelroom was ok, the hotel is located in a green area, very calm, you need to catch a bus to go the centre (you can buy the bus ticket at the hotel). The staff was helpful, lovely and understanding. I couldn´t ask for better service.
