The staff were very courteous and the free morning breakfast was great especially since you could take it to your room. They were also very reasonable when it came to our golden retriever and our needs for her.

The main reason I booked this. Hotel was for the hot tub.....we paid extra for this and the hot tub. Wasn't working properly. Very disappointed in that.

This is by far the best hotel I have stayed in in the Halifax area. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The free breakfast was excellent and a great start to two very busy days. With the new technology they have, getting our room door open was a snap! Parking is free too! What a pleasant change from other hotels!! I had asked if the pool& hot tub would be open on 2 occasions , once the night before my stay , I was told "all was in operation". The hot tub was closed with a sign on it. This did not make me pleased.

We stayed the night with our granddaughter the first time at a hotel with us.We enjoyed the pool,hot tub and breakfast we all had a great time and will be back again hopefully with the granddaughter again she really enjoyed the stay.Thanks for a comfortable stay

Good location, just off the freeway from the airport. Breakfast was complete and varied daily. Somewhat noisy, but our room was next to the stairwell and exit door.

Worth the money, breakfast was ample and good enough. The room was clean and comfortable. The pool and hot tub are disappointing. The pool is small and cold. No jumping or diving. The hot tub jets hardly work. It is a good location if you are shopping at costco type stores, but 10 - 15 minute drive to downtown.

A very good stay..fairly close to airport, well kept pool complete with towels, change room, etc.... excellent breakfast..really liked the 24hr coffee/tea i n lobby, helpful staff

Excellent hotel, very helpful at the front desk, clean rooms with quality beds and bedding, no noise, convenient location, good value for money. Would stay again when in Halifax. Nothing negative to say!

Our stay at the Holiday Inn Express was good. I couldn't get my e-ticket to print and the gentleman at the receptionist desk helped to to try and figure it out. The room was spacious and comfortably. The only thing that we found wasn't good was that there was too much noise in the pool area. It was close to 10:00 P.M. and there were a few small kids […] in the pool making alot of noise, their parents were with them but didn't try to quiet them down. We stayed at the hotel because it was in a convenient location close to the highway and where we were going. The pool was very relaxing after a long day. Having the breakfast in the hotel is an ideal way to start the day.

Hi Ya , I enjoyed the hotel so much ,however the time I chose to stay there was not so timely .The floors were all booked with baseball players as there was an international tournament going on .We were pre booked but ended up in a room next to many young female baseball players .After a long day of travelling we awoke to doors opening ,slamming and […] girls creating so much noise .I was so dissappointed because the entire 4 days was dissrupted many times do to all the noise . We needed a hotel for one last night on our trip close to Halifax airport. This one worked out fine. Great breakfast in the morning, but the place was packed and they were slow to refill items that were used up quickly by the kids in town for a national softball tournament. The room and bed were comfortable. We had difficulty navigating from downtown […] Halifax to the hotel, so we called them for assistance. Two folks at the front desk had no idea how to direct us. Nice to be so close to a highway, and area was nice and quiet. Prefer to the hustle of getting to and from a downtown hotel/motel location. Very clean and staff were great. WIll stay there again on our next Halifax trip.

The staff was very accomodating, and eager to make your stay an enjoyable one. the rooms are extremely clean and comfortable. Overall it was a quiet hotel. The breakfast bar was not what we expected from a compilmentary breakfast. It had many choices and was an enjoyable meal and a great way to start our day.

The staff were friendly, the room was clean and comfortable and the location was great. It was only a short distance from the Halifax waterfront. We had a great time in the pool.

the hotel was great with services provided being very good. However, our bathroom stank from the moment we got into the room until we left. We told the cleaner, and she did her best, but it's time to replace the bathroom (at least in this unit!). Great hotel, in location near Bayers Lake Shopping Centre and only 20 minutes from the airport. Easy access to downtown (driving) and close (driving) to local shopping and restaurants.

This hotel was fine. The pool was nice. The breakfast was good although I found some of the egg dishes lukewarm. I thought I would hear more road noise given its proximity to the 102 which is a plus. Free wifi was great as well.

One night when I came in there were freshly baked cookies. Always clean and breakfast was okay. Great for a family.

The room was dirty, there was food left in the fridge, there was food on the floor, and there was an Orkin bug catcher under the bed. The elevator was supposed to be fixed within the hour it did not work for the entire stay. The pool was grimy. I would not stay again.
