Hampton Inn Springfield - Спрингфилд

My mother, who is 86, wanted to stay at a Hampton Inn for our Mothers Day weekend get together. The staff was so friendly and helpful. We had very comfortable rooms and a lovely breakfast on Sunday.

It was fine. Nothing meteoric, but serviceable accomodations, friendly staff, passable food.

I understand that they had an unusual amount of snow when we were there but the parking lot was extremely dangerous and even by the next mid-morning is still had not been cleared. We checked out early and lost a nights stay because everything was closed down.

While there were no major issues, this Hampton Inn was more along the lines of a Super 8. Surrounded only by parking lots and a power plant a block away. Very small bathroom and average furnishings. Pool was okay though. Breakfast time was so crowded that it would have been more worth it to leave the hotel and go to Steak n Shake across the street.

Front desk apologized for lack of room with two queen beds as reserved, offered king bed and a pull-out bed (sofa). The pull-out bed was very uncomfortable. The toilet in the room ran every few minutes. The breakfast was not able to serve all guests and we needed to carry food and drinks to a conference room down the hall.

always happy with Hampton Inns. they are always very clean and I love the breakfasts. A little pricy though. A very large tax added onto price.

I've been travelling to Springfield, from Pittsburgh, for 6 years now and Hampton Inn has become my home there. I've stayed many, many times and is absolutely the best place in town. Other places are too pricey, dirty, and smell of smoke.

They were removing my microwave and mini fridge for replacement/repair as I was taking my luggage into the room. Never seen either one again during my stay. Thank god the ice machine worked

Breakfast is a cut above the usual free hotel spread. Hot chocolate chip cookies in the afternoon were a nice touch. Also nice that there are drinks available all the time. The room was nice but only one chair. You need two or more chairs in a room. Also the bedspread comforter was so heavy, we could harldy lfit it off, much less sleep under it. Otherwise the buffet breakdfast was awesome.

As we have found typical of Hampton hotels, the cleanliness and comfort of the room was excellent. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the breakfast had lots of choices.

Appreciated handiness to food, and pretty easy access to a Wal-Mart. Continental breakfast awesome, however, I felt bad for the people working it. I think an additional employee would have been beneficial as they could not keep up with the steady flow of guests, tables couldn't be wiped, etc. Beds were super comfortable, as well as the bedding/pillows […] that accompanied them! Would have been nice to have a mini-fridge and/or a microwave and a spare sitting chair, but managed without. Slippery around edges of pool so be careful, paint was peeling I think. Some stuff at the bottom of the pool and hot tub, but I think it was the peeling paint. We rented two rooms, t.v. stopped working in one room, but it was repaired/replaced right away, very nice. Overall, a nice experience and a great stay and we would definitely choose here again. Appreciated being able to check out at noon as well. Подробнее

Breakfast was very crowded every day. The staff tried to keep up but there are not enough tables. Room was nice but a little small with no room between desk and bed and the closet in the corner.

It was our 1st Wedding Anniversary, my wife has never been to Springfield, IL. and we choose that as our destination. Everything was totally perfect. The breakfast & the staff was superb. I would reccomend this Hotel to any of my friends and we hope to stay there again.

Perfect overnight stop on our trip from Chicago to Rolla, Mo. The beds were big and comfy and the breakfast buffet was delicious. Very glad we chose Hampton Inns.

loved the room, but I could tell it was very crowded at pool and also at breakfast too many people and not enough spaces to eat at. The only downside of the hotel was that the breakfast (especially for a Saturday) was not good enough compared to alot of Hamptons I have stayed at. Only ate yogurt and some cereal and left. We were there for a Softball tournament. Several of the players could have used a laundromat. Might want to consider one. We drove all over for a laundromat that was open after games, but had no luck. The girls' uniforms were "DIRTY".

We were passing through on our way to Branson, MO. We wanted to see the Lincoln Museum, so we chose this hotel to stay overnight. We were a bit disappointed at the condition of this Hampton - and we have stayed at many in past years...

We found the hotel conveniently located off the interstate and not that far from downtown with many options for nearby dinner. It had the amenities we wanted: pool, breakfast, wireless internet. Beds and bedding were comfortable. Hotel and room were clean and service was friendly . We would stay there again

For a Hampton Inn I was disappointed overall. No shampoo or conditioner in my room, so I had to go ask for it. The room was "made" but not clean as there were bits of something in the sink, stains on the bed, and a left over filled out comment card sitting on top of the dresser from almost a month ago. If you like the Hampton Inn name like I do, be […] cautious and prepared to be let down...maybe look down the street for a different hotel in the same price range as I know I will next time I'm in town. Room was dirty upon arrival. Even after asking staff to send someone up to clean while we were at dinner, response was willing but not apologetic, and we still returned to find a sub-par job. Housekeeping did decent job the next day, but overall experience has turned me off of this Hampton Inn.
