The Atlante Garden был всего в нескольких кварталах от Ватикана и остановки автобуса. Остановки других видов транспорта находились также рядом, но мы ими не пользовались. 4 дня нам хватило для осмотра достопримечательностей. Наш отель был в безопасном районе, рядом с множеством ресторанов. Что еще нужно для счастья? Номера были прекрасными.

Ни в коем случае этот отель нельзя назвать 4 звездочным, мы попросили две односпальные кровати, а нам дали одну. Мы также не могли использовать ванну, так как нам сказали, что это приведет к затоплению отеля. Комнаты были тесными, устаревшими и темными. Не то, что было показано в интернете.

Мы с нетерпением ждали нескольких дней в Риме на время Рождества и Atlante Garden казался хорошим выбором, большая ошибка. Отель не обновлялся несколько десятилетий, грязные и отслаивающиеся обои в комнатах были ужасны. Завтрак стоил 12€, так что мы пошли в кафе на углу за кофе и булочками для нас обоих всего за 5€. Один минус отеля - уличное движение снаружи. Оно действительно издавало немного шума, но не достаточно, чтобы разрушить наше благоприятное впечатление. It was all we expected and more - room was small but adequate, clean and well furnished, service was great, employees very helpful and timely and courteous - and the location was excellent with reasonably priced places to eat within walking distance.

Price you quoted us included all taxes, and shuttle to the airport, but they charged us 40 Euro for airport transfer in their own van packed with other hotel guests, and added 12 euro taxes. Have no complaints whatsoever about our stay, good value for money, good location with great restaurants in the locality and the Vatican and metro stop within a few mins walk. Ignore complaints about noise in other reviews, it was very minimal. Hotel is small but friendly. As hotels go in Rome, it's perfectly situated for sightseeing. We walked everywhere from the hotel. It's very close to the Vatican & a metro station. Staff are helpful. This hotel has a 4-star rating? It should be not more than 3-star. The room I booked was suposedly a superior one. Well, it had a very uncomfortable bed with its mattress at floor level, no shower, only one stright-backed chair. extremely poor lighting. The only plus to this room was a totally private roof-level patio.

Older hotel, but very good condition. Near Vatican, great location. Restaurants in area are very good and not expensive. Only complaints are that Wi-Fi is only free for first 5 minutes and it can be hard to get an iron if needed.

Our trip to Rome was nothing short of perfect! The hotel was also very good. Location and pick up from the airport was great. The room was perfect for the two of us. Our only complaints would be the noisey street, really soft mattress, and the surprise tax you must pay at the end of the stay. We found the hotel excellent for location and cleanliness although it was far too noisy throughout the whole night and one member of our party got very little sleep - some nights none at all due to the high volume of traffic passing along that street.

However the shuttle bus from the airport was an issue - we checked before our stay and it said the bus was not available after 10pm so we got a taxi from the airport to the hotel, when we arrived we were informed the bus does collect at any time as long as you let them know before you arrive. The staff was very helpful and the housekeeper did a great job. The elevator was large enough for 4 people supposedly, but if you put 4 in there you were squashed! We changed rooms and the desk clerk was very helpful when we made the request. Our first room was very hot and noisy. If you are booking this hotel, do not accept a room on the main street […] side. After two nights, we had not gotten any sleep because of the temperature and the noise. They advertise that the rooms are sound-proofed but they are not at all. It was a great location and we would probably stay there again because of that fact. But I do believe that we would explore other options before rebooking at this particular hotel. This hotel stops short of being excellent, but provided a very satisfying experience for a five day stay in Rome. An ideal base for exploring the Vatican and St. Peter's (a 5 to 10 minute strole at most). The rooms are a bit dated and slightly 'worn', but this did not detract too much from their very comfortable ambiance. The small breakfast room proved […] more than adequate, even though the hotel was full, and the buffet breakfast provided a good selection of food which compared favourably with anything else we have experienced in similar situations. The bar area, though small, was comfortable and welcoming but did finish serving by about 11.00pm. when the charming bar tender cashed up and left. Ordering 'one for the road' and paying before she finished was quite acceptable and drinks would be served at our table, with a smile and an extra portion of crisps and nuts! This hotel does not have a restaurant, so evening meals were taken at various establishments in the centre of Rome. We found prices to be reasonable in most places, but check the menu before you commit! The hotel does have a small roof garden with veiws of The Dome of St. Peter's, if you stand on a strategically positioned table :-). We found the staff at reception to be welcoming and very efficient, not 'gushing' but very helpful with regards to any requests that we made. Not perfect, but all in all a very enjoyable experience! The Hotel is ideal for those visiting Rome and the Vatican. There is a wonderful roof-top terrace with a panoramic view of St. Peter's and the surrounding area.There is also a good selection of reasonably priced in walking distance.

Our room 142 was on the corner of the building at ground level and we suffered greatly due to traffic noise. Due to our pavement level position we could not open the external shutters,as a result,most of the time in our room was spent with the lights on !

No hot water for two days of the visit, we stayed in room 244, the bed moved every time a lorry went by the room, thus we were woken up several times each night, plus the glass recycle bin was outside the room so crashing glass at least twice a night.

It was a great location!! Staff was very helpful and had many suggestions for dinner and tours. I really enjoyed that is was an 19th century builing that really made you were a part of history, which is why you usually visit Vatican City.

We took the free airport shuttle that the hotel offered but that only gets you to the hotel. You have to pay €20 per person for a return trip. We were met by a fairly humourless driver who hardly said anything to us on pick up. The journey to the hotel took about 40 minutes and there were no problems at check in; the receptionist was quite pleasant. […] Initial impression of the room was not great. There was a hole in the bed cover and the in room phone was covered in dust which didn't change. The bathroom area was quite big and nicely decorated but the fixtures and fittings had again seen better days. The heating in the room didn't work and we had to request extra blankets to stay warm overnight. There was one quite thin pillow per person and the mattress wasn't exactly comfortable. Breakfast was €9 per person and was ok if a little pricey for what you get (no hot food!). There are no in room facilities for making drinks which was a bit of a nightmare if you've spent a day sightseeing as it would be nice to chill out with a cuppa after realising around all day. There is a bar at the hotel which doesn't open until 5pm, again not great as you can't even get soft drinks anywhere before this time. Location is great if you want to see the Vatican but for anywhere else you need to get the metro or a bus. Overall I don't think this hotel would receive 4 stars if looked at again and have to wonder how many years ago it actually did get them??! I don't think I'd book to stay here again. Подробнее

THE ROOMS ARE SUPERB AND THE STAFF HAPPY TO PLEASE, WE HAD PACKED AND PUT OUR LUGGAGE IN A ROOM PROVIDED AND SECURE, WE WENT FOR A WALK AND GOT SOAKING WET, ASKED IF WE COULD GET A CHANGE OF CLOTHES OUT OF CASE, THE MANAGER HANDED US A KEY TO ROOM AND SAID GO AND CHANGE NO PROBLEM.BUFFET BREAKFAST VERY GOOD AND GREAT VIEW TO VATICAN.

Hello, I have recently stayed 4 nights at Atlante Garden Hotel. I'm going to start first with the Location: The location of the hotel is amazing. It's between the Vatican and San Angelo. (5 min walk to San Angelo) In all our stay we haven;t used not even once the public transport. All the major tourist attraction are at 20 min walk. In terms of breakfast […] I usually don't eat so much at breakfast but for me was more than enough (pastries, jam, cheese, orange juice, cereals etc.) The restaurant Les Etoile where the breakfast is served is absolutely great and the view of San Pietro it's really great. The pick up service was really great and comfortable. We arrived in 30 min at the hotel. The room it's not very big but I think it's enough for a vacation. Anyway the hotel I would not say it's 4 stars. Also the bed it's a bit hard so for the ones who love to have a fluffy mattress you should chose other hotel. There are a lot of restaurants near the hotel. We found one which was absolutely amazing and the food as well. The restaurant it's held by a family and the food is great great great. The restaurant it's called Porta Castello. The prices are extremely good as well like 8 euros for a pizza, 6 euros for spaghetti pomodoro and 7 euros a bottle of house red wine. The restaurant was full every single night and the staff is really nice. Overall the vacation at this hotel was nice I have enjoyed it. I would definitely stay again at this hotel. First off, this is NOT a 4 star hotel by any standards (US or European). It might have been several years ago but is showing a little age. That said, this hotel isn't bad and you can't argue with the price! Pros: - Friendly Staff - Clean - Great location, not in the middle of town but it's a 10-20 minute walk to most everything - Taxi station is right […] down the street for a quick way to get to the train station - Vatican is right there! - Great cheap breakfast in the morning with a great view - Great shuttle service and comparable rates for the return to the airport - Friendly and helpful staff - Free wifi in the lobby and pay for time in your room (pretty common in Europe) Cons: - Smoke: I have asthma and the first night I had to use my inhaler. If you are super sensitive to smoke you might have issues. - It's misrepresented as a 4 star hotel. It's a solid 3 though - The heating was not that great and the rooms are a little drafty The rooms are small by american standards but not bad. it's a great place to sleep and we were out most of the time. Regarding the smoke smells, the staff let us check out another room on a different floor and really did try to help the best they could. It's also just the fact that we are so spoiled with "smoke free" areas in the US so it takes some getting used to. If you are on a budget and want a clean, safe friendly hotel this is a great place.
