Данный отель располагается очень удобно, между основными достопримечательностями Венеции: площадью Сан-марко и Золотым мостом. Добраться из аэропорта Марко-Поло удобно на водном такси (30-40 мин. ). Персонал вежлив и приветлив. Номера убираются чисто. В номере есть чайник, отличный бар, ванна, фен, TV есть даже в ванной комнате. Все сделано для того, […] чтобы было удобно и уютно. вкусный и скромный европейский завтрак.Красивые и приветливые официанты. Но в номере не было тапочек и халата. Номер светлый и уютный. Лучше брать номер с выходом на канал, немного шумновато, но при этом занятно. Дизайн гостиницы и номеров выполнен в венецианском стиле. Рядом с гостиницей несколько улиц с магазинами. шопинг отличный - лучше Миланского. если идти от гостиницы в сторону моста, то недалеко находится сувенирный 3-х этажный магазин. Цены в нем намного ниже и говорят по-русски.. НЕдалеко от отеля славянская набережная. ПО ней приятно неспеша добрести до зеленого парка с античными статуями и до улицы Гарибальди. Мы заказали 3 трехкомнатные квартиры, и нам дали 3 номера, которые были расположены в конце отеля с отдельным входом, так что никакие посторонние даже не проходили мимо наших номеров. Комнаты были фантастично большими, и если откровенно, мы были поражены, когда, вопреки ожиданиям, узнали, что цена за комнаты была намного ниже по европейским меркам. […] Один минус, с которым мы столкнулись, заключался в том, что в одной из комнат грызун, по моим соображениям, скоропостижно скончался в системе вентиляции. В каждой комнате имелась пара термостатов, и мы использовали один из них как раз в этой проблемной комнате. Цены на интернет были благоразумными, и буфет также был включен в стоимость. Еда была, конечно, не звездной, но она включала хлопья, хлеб и фрукты, достаточно для нашего утреннего завтрака. Расположение отеля было прекрасным, так что нам не пришлось далеко идти до площади San Marcos и долго ловить водное такси от отеля и обратно.Персонал был дружелюбным и выполнял все наши заказы. Нам организовали поездку в Muarano на стекольную фабрику, которую они очень высоко ценят, как мы недавно и видели по телевизору. Если купить достаточно сувениров, то вам оплатят поездку обратно. Если нет, то вам самим придется заказывать общественный транспорт по воде обратно. Будьте готовы, что билет в лодке-такси до аэропорта и обратно стоит денег, имейте в виду. Подробнее

Мы с женой остановились в этом отеле на одну ночь (Июль 5/11) во время однодневной экскурсии из Флоренции в Венецию. До отеля недолго идти от водного вокзала на воде на площади St. Marcos, отель расположен на одном из маленьких внутренних каналов в центре города. Можно дойти куда угодно всего за 5-10 минут. Административный персонал был очень приятный […] и организовал нам поездку на одну из стекольных фабрик в Murano, которая входила в стоимость нашего проживания. Наш номер был меньше, чем хотелось бы и походил на каюту в яхте, но, несмотря на это, был исключительно опрятным и выглядел современно. Завтрак, включенный также в наш заказ, был тоже хорошим. Стоимость, правда, высокая, но адекватная общим нормам в Венеции. Нам понравилось время, проведенное в Венеции, и впечатление об остановке в таком приятном месте было хорошим. От нашего прибытия на водном такси к отелю до отъезда отель показался нам эффектным и его персонал отзывчивым. Отель совсем рядом с магазинами, я даже купил себе потрясающую пару итальянских ботинок. Расстояние от площади St Marc,s до мест, представляющих исторических интерес, занимает несколько минут ходьбы. Этот отель легко узнать прямо из такси на воде, к нему есть свободный доступ по маленькому каналу. Это большое преимущество. Я бы рекомендова этот отель своему лучшему другу.

This was a return visit to the hotel where we had spent our honeymoon 30 years ago. The hotel is lovely, the welcome was warm, the staff were very friendly and helpful and the meals we had in the restarant were also very good. We hope to return again and do not plan to wait another 30 years......

Stayed there for 3 nights. Rooms were comfortable and clean. Very noisy location- were woken up several times by drunken screaming people in the streets. But close to sights. The worst part about the stay was no customer service. In our entire 3 1/2 days there we only saw the guest relations/concierge there once. We were never able to ask any questions […] unless we waited about 20 minutes at the reception as the receptionists were checking people in and out. We were very pleased with the hotel. We had a very pleasant stay there. It was very convenient to the main tourist area & they upgraded us to a better room than we had booked originally.

A first class hotel with first class staff, location, service and accommodation. I particularly like the warm atmosphere of the art deco sitting area around the hotel lobby. The hotel is located near all major attractions within a few minutes walking distance. We have dinner in the restaurant which provided an excellent service with a reasonable price compare to other restaurants in the area. However, it is located in a narrow canal, […] water bus cannot go directly to the hotel front door. It costs us 80 euro to get a water taxi to ride us from the train station to the hotel front door. Alternatively, you can get water bus get off in Rilato stop with only 6.5 euro and walk through the narrow streets for about 5 minutes. But be prepare that you would easily get lost in the narrow streets while you are finding the way going to the hotel. Get a city map figuring out the way to walk to the hotel would make it easier. Staying at the Starhotel Splendid Venice made my honeymoon the best ever. They upgraded us to a King's suite with river view and deluxe King's bed and also a box of chocolate, this is really sweet of a small boutique hotel can offer! Room is big, nice, neat, clean, great. starhotel splendid venice was a wonderful hotel great size for a venice hotel, very well decorated newly renovated, clean, bathrooms were terrific beds were very comfortable, maid service perfect dinner in the hotel was great for thanksgiving hotel front desk needs work. assistance was limited. knowledge of resturants and sites was not addressed with […] great interest in the guests. we were sent to the resturants they were "given" as good ones. they were NOT good and expensive. this hotel will be perfect when they hire front desk management that trains staff to care about their guests. internet was given for free for 30minutes a day in the lobby. what person doesn't need to connect each day. Great location ! great rooms ! Everything nice except the service for breakfast and the breakfast itself. You have to ask for drinks many times and waiters might be quite unpolite. Breakfast buffet was very basic and everything has to be ordered and paid as an extra.

The hotel is a 5 minute walk from St. Mark's Sq. It's also a 5-minute walk to the Rialto Bridge. The staff was very helpful. Shopping all around. Room was very clean and the beds were amazing. Breakfast was everything you would normally eat at home, including eggs, bacon, breads, pastries and fruits. We definitely stay there again.

i must say this hotel is wonderful and comfortable to stay, very clean and in perfect location. the breakfast is lovely and healthy. this hotel stand near the square and shops. i would go there again.

We had a wonderful weekend in Venice and the hotel was beautiful. It has a lot of atmosphere. It is close to everything, but without the feeling of being in the center of a larger city. A small complaint could be that the breakfast was very small.

Clean hotel in the heart of San Marco. On small canal and hence, taxis don't like to take you there, using the excuse that the water is too high and bridges to low. The staff at this hotel definitely went above and beyond, especially the front desk people. If you are looking for a convenient, central location, this hotel cannot be beat. 2 minutes walks to great shopping, St. Mark's square and many other tourist destinations.

Very nice hotel, good location, nicely remodeled. Very large room (by europian standards) Very pleasant dining hall where breakfast is served (was included in room price), decent selection of dishes. One problem - ventilation in the bathroom did not work. And wasnt fixed during our 2-night stay.

This hotel is beautiful but the bed was as hard as a rock! We both woke up in pain the next day making it difficult to sightsee. Great location and lovely accommodations but the bed and the very poor concierge servce make it difficult to whole heartedly reccommend.

I am an Italian American, have been to Venice many times..and this truly was the best. I have stayed in the most expensive in Venice but they all felt snooty and old..not antique. Of course we recommend The Splendid Venice Hotel, we stayed 4 days and everything was perfect, the service was very good, our room was very comfortable and clean and also had one 110 v for your convenience, so you don't have to bring electrical adapter, ( we did not know and did bring them ) , breakfast was complete and really good, eggs, bacon, cereals, […] fruits, juices, coffee and different kind of breads and pastries. Situated on a canal -- with access to water taxis -- this lovely hotel was perfect for us. Huge, tall window over the canal, gourmet breakfast in a sunny solarium....excellent! Check in was a bit harried due to a LOT of tourists arriving at virtually the same time, but it went smoothly. Staff was very helpful...I would certainly return.

Let me start by saying that the hotel was very conveniently located between the Rialto Bridge and San Marco Square. I wasn't very happy with our room and asked the front desk if we could possibly change rooms...that request was met with an arrogant denial. We had asked for a superior room with a canal view and were stuck in the smallest room on the […] 1st floor overlooking a minor canal. Little did we know that the minor canal only "came alive" at 6am when the garbage boat came to take the garbage from the hotel. They were extremely noisy. I definately would not rebook at this hotel. Great location, Good value as long as you don't book the lowest class room ( A closet). After we complained about or original rooms lack of A/C (Not Working in the entire hotel we were told) we were upgraded to a larger room which was comfortable and the A/C worked (Amazing). This hotel was great value for money, after 10 days and 4 hotels in Italy my expectations were low in the 4 star range but this will go down as our best hotel in Europe. Although one of our rooms was small (it was a single by the way), it was very comfortable and the other room was perfect, it even had a view of a canal....fantastic!
