Good hotel in convenient location, I would use it again.

Excellent hotel with very good sized rooms

The hotel is great for a quick weekend get away for 2 or 3 days. But a definate problem is parking and the size of the rooms. I stayed in a deluxe room and with my bags and myself the room was too cramped for my comfort level.

Its close to metro station,and near charl de goal etoite....

First time in Paris the Eiffel tower was about a40 minute walk from the hotel the staff was nice and helped us in every way Just wish they had a shuttle service from the airport because its 3 train rides or a 50 euro cab ride

The hotel was very nice and intimate. The location was great. Away from the tourist stuff and in a nice neighborhood with all the good shops you could want. We spent time just walking around by the Hotel and it was great. Metro is around the corner so it is very convenient. Staff was very friendly. Would definitely stay there again.

Hotel is renovated with taste. Great location, 15 min. walk to the Arc de Triompe and Champs Élysées, 5 min. walk to Wagram metro station (direct to Louvre and Notrea Dame). Clean and cosy room, bathroom with window. Excellent service!

Everything about this hotel is just ok. If you get a really good rate, then it's an ok deal, but don't over pay. The location is reasonable but not great. The hotel is rated 4 stars, but I would probaly give it 3. The surrounding neighborhood doesn't have alot to offer. There is one cafe across the street. The location of the Hotel was good and the manner of the receptionists excellent , but I do not think it was a four star hotel. the room was small and more maintanance needs to be done. For example the lift was very small and was out of service the whole time we were there !!! The room was very small but it was clean.

Could not open the door of the room wide enough to fit the suitcase between the door and the corner of the bed. The shower ceiling was peeling and was so low anyone over 5'4" would be touching the ceiling. And this for an expensive rate!

Myself and the girlfriend took 4 days off in Paris and I have to say this hotel couldnt have been better. While we didnt spend much of our time in the hotel, as there is so much to do and see in Paris in 4 days, whenever we required information on transport, dining out, and just a friendly chat, the staff were always great. It is a great location to […] launch a days exploration in the city as a short power walk gets you to the Arc de Triomphe in ten minutes, or 200 meters away is Wagram Metro which brings you straight down to Notre dame/Louvre area. We found a great italian restaurant (Antonio's) across the road which is perfect for evenings when your too tired to make an effort for dinner. And many more in the locality within a ten minute walk. The cleaning staff start at about 10 - 1030 in the morning which acts as a great alarm to get you out of bed and kick starting your day in this beautiful city. It was great to come back every day to a freshly cleaned room and changed bed covers. Im certainly not used to that. The lift is hilariously small but as it was not busy when we were staying it suited out lazy needs perfectly, sure who needs room in a lift anyway, its more romactic that way and sure it is Paris. We stayed there 3 nights. The phone never worked, neither did the Wi-Fi. Then they placed a PC by the reception area charging 5 euros for 12 minutes. Now, that's a rip-off. Small and cosy. Close to both the metro (2 min by foot) and Charles de Gaulle-Etoile (10-20 min by foot).

Pros: Clean room, nice wood work inside the room, friendly and helpful front desk. Cons: Tiniest room ever, even compared to european standards! Tiny elevator (2 people with one luggage is the maximum capacity), a little far from the main events ( you have to walk 15-20 min to get to Champ-Lysee),

Location, Location, This hotel is the place to start yoiur holidays in Paris. It is just about 100 meters from the metro and in a walking distance from the Arc de Triomph. Great despite the very small rooms.

This is a find! Tucked away in a quiet residential area but close to everything, a Metro station just around the corner and a great Pattiserie across the road!

The hotel is very charming and clean. The service is very much not there, however that seems to be the norm in Paris. The location is a short 10 mins walk to the Arc de Triomphe through a charming neighborhood. There are lots of little restaurants around the hotel and a metro station at the end of the block. For the value, I would stay there again.

This hotel is down-right acceptable. It's clean, cute, and located 2 minutes from the most fabulous subway system I've ever seen. Very reasonably priced. Good breakfast. Good service. Room is a little small, but not rediculously so. I'd definitely do it again.

it is close to a subway station that makes it easy to visit all Paris but is located in a residental area with nearby coffee place that makes it very attractive. The staff was very helpful and arranged our return back with a cab even though you could use the train if you don't want to spend the money on airport transportation.People complain of the […] shower and that is true. They should put a shower curtain or something otherwise the whole floor gets wet but who cares. If you want to stay in Paris choose this one. The rooms are lovely (LCD TV), plush pillows. But you can find these things in other hotels, what you cannot find is the staff. As we walked into the lobby there was a customer complaining about something (I dont know what) to the desk Manager and saying that he wasnt going to pay. We felt the same way by the time we checked out. This is, on paper, an average hotel made substandard for us when they put us in a room that had an inoperative AC. Complaints to the desk resulted […] in relative indifference with no problem resolution, no room change and no compensation. They wouldnt even give us a fan to make our nights a little more bearable. This being August, it was too hot to sleep comfortably so we had to open the window. This also being a 1st floor room facing Wagram Ave (a major thoroughfare)the street noise of fire engines, trucks, and loud scooters all night long made sleeping a real challange. Without AC in Aug, we didnt much care about the rest of the "amenties" of this hotel, which appeared average. One other negative was the size of the shower stall which was so small that whenever I turned around inside the stall (I am realtively thin to average in size) I would bump the water flow handle slamming it to full hot or cold (depending on which direction I turned). Stayed 2 nights. Hotel desk people were very helpful and accomodating. First night shower drain backed up and overflowed onto floor. Had to take a shower in vacant adjoing room. 2nd. night air-conditioning was not working. Shower did work.

Hotel is one block away from the subway WAGRAM station (Line 3/Close to ST. Lazare). The Best Western Mercedes was a nice hotel located in a residential neighborhood. The metro was a five minute walk from the hotel, however I didn't feel it was so safe to walk around there late at night since not many tourists stayed in this area. We got into this hotel after having stayed at Orly for five hours when our luggage was misplaced by EasyJet (the same happened to another 12 passengers). So maybe I was just tired, but, despite a beautiful room in a quieter section a bit farther from the Arc de Triomphe than I thought, I was displeased with a $5, 10oz. Very impressed with the hotel, very good location with a tube station on the corner of the block. Within walking distance to most of the attractions, and the ones further away, a short ride on the underground.

My husband and I aren't very picky, so as long as the rooms are clean and the staff is nice, we're usually good to go. This hotel is good for the price. It's located about a 15-20 min walk to the Champs Elysees, but right next to a metro station so it worked out fine. You'll be fine if you stay here and are worried about getting to the tourist attractions. […] The metro is a hop and skip away and the Paris metro is very easy to use. It only cost 1.60 euros each way, so it's inexpensive. It's in a good neighborhood and right across the street from a grocery store which could save you money if you're staying for a while. The staff is nice. The hotel is small, but perfectly fine. The only complaint I have is that our room door didn't have a key cover (I'm not sure what else to call it). The battery and wires were exposed leaving it open for people to take the battery out if they wanted. Our bathroom door didn't have a door knob. It was broken off. Every staff was very helpful and patient. On the day of my checkout, they even allow me to deposit my luggage at the other location of Best Western since it will be more convenient to me. This hotel is kind small but rooms are nice.

This hotel is very conveniently located in a lovely area of Paris. The rooms were clean and beautiful and made us feel we had a true Parisian experience.

The hotel is well kept and the staff speak English. The metro is pretty close, but the line it is on doesn't go anywhere very touristy directly and you usually need to transfer once or twice. First time in Paris, and it was a pleasure staying here. Nice furniture, style, bathroom, overall great feel. Plenty of room (a rarity in Paris), in a posh neighborhood, down the street from the Arch de Triumph. I actually used my rewards points towards this room, but it seemed like a great deal compared to others.

Everything you need, fantastic staff, willing to help and very polite. Elevator is small but it works great. Located in the very posh area of Paris, many good places to eat near by. Walking distance to the Arch de triumph.

This is a very nice hotel and a very good value. The room was clean, attractive, and large by European standards. The bathroom was well appointed and even had washcloths, a rarity in our experience.
