Clarion Hotel - Фейетвилл

The A/C in the room didn't work and the hotel was very under staffed. Checked in Friday night and had to wait 20 mins for the only person (1) working that night. The room was clean but hot. Not awful but should be better.

My stay went reasonably well. there are no elevators on the outside wings of the hotel. The candy/chip machines were in the middle of the hotel away from our room and the machine mal-functioned and my selection hung up. The breakfast was complementary and nice and service was good. Overall it was a satisfactory stay.

The hotel was conveniently located near the Interstate and to the Universtiy of Arkansas. The staff was helpful and the breakfast was very good. The room was clean and well maintained. I would certainly stay there again.

The Clarion is conveniently located close the University of Arkansas Campus in Fayetteville. The breakfast buffat was good and the indoor pool,hot tub are a nice bonus.

Biggest concern was loud "partying" throughout the entire night in one or more of the rooms and on the outside walkway of the second floor. Staff should have been aware and dealt with the problem. When I finally called the front desk, I was told they would send the guard to check it out but loud talking and activity continued throughout the night.

This hotel was not what I would consider a 3 star hotel. Still had analog TV. Very poor reception and difficult to watch. The room had a musty odor and seemed very outdated. However, the breakfast buffet was much better than many places I've stayed.

Enjoyed the hotel, and loved the Razorback decor. Roll Tide!, btw. The only negative I have is that I lost my Alabama gnome on this trip. He has travelled with me to Alabama football destinations since my wife gave him to me for Christmas 3 years ago. He even survived New Orleans this past January. Sadly though, he was destroyed by what could only be […] described as disgruntled Hawg fans after their team fell to the Crimson Tide 0-52 on Saturday, September 15th, 2012. He was sitting quietly against my hotel room door, not bothering anyone, yet someone decided to break him into small pieces and leave him scattered up and down the hallway. I do plan to return to the Clarion in 2 years when the Tide is there again to do battle with Arkansas in Fayetteville. Only this time, I will ask those at the front desk to allow me to display our newest Crimson Tide gnome, "Rammer Jammer, Jr." on their counter with all their Scarlet Hawg Red Colors. The smell of smoke was overwhelming. Cigarette butts were littered outside every entrance. The bedside lights didn't work. The staff was very nice and helpful, but the hotel environment wasn't clean and inviting.

Two things negative: 1). Overhead lights in the back need replacing - far too dark and upon arrival the overall outside made is wonder if we made a good choice; however, once we got to put room (162) we quickly knew we had!! I felt the hotel is out dated. It was somewhat clean and certainly safe, but I am used to a newer hotel and this looked like it was built in the 1970s. The room looked worn. The price I paid seemed right for the quality of the hotel....inexpensive.

Of course we weren't expecting the Waldorf for the price we paid however the sheets were obviously not changed (maybe housekeeping assumed the bed hadn't been slept in the night before we checked in and didn't bother) there was hair and 'crumbs' of some kind and an unidentifiable stain...we had to request they be changed. There was an AWFUL racket banging […] non stop the entire stay, I don't know what, maybe water pipes or something in the walls...some people can sleep through that, I cannot. Finally, the room across from us put out their unfinished meal (room service?) to be picked up by staff but it sat there for over 24 hours and was STILL there when we checked out. Disgusting! 1. Booked a room with two beds. Was given a room with a king size bed and a sleeper sofa. The latter would not open up properly. Had to put the mattress on the floor to sleep on. 2, The clerk on duty at check in was condensending and when he asked to run a credit card for possible damage to the room and "incedental" charges and I asked how was I to […] know if they would not charge me for something that I was not aware or unfounded. His response was that I had to trust him/them. My response was the question "You don't trust me but I'm supposed to trust you"? I would have left to another hotel if I had not been driving for over 12 hours. The reservation was made online via Expedia and was non refundable. 3. The second day the door key cards were deleted when I returned in the p.m. The front desk indicated I was only there for one day. When I mentioned the reservation was for two days, after several minutes the clerk confirmed I was correct and issued new key cards. I also mentioned that I wanted to stay a third day which the clerk acknowledged. 4. When I returned the following day in early pm the key cards, again, were deleted. I returned to the front desk to inquire. After some discussion with the clerk #Kayla#. I told her I would not stay and that I would clear the room and she could check the room to see that it was in order. She did so and said there would be no more charges. Overall - pretty basic hotel. Our A/C did not work real well, so kind of put a damper on the stay. Location was fine and staff seemed friendly, nothing stand out.

The beds were UNCOMFORTABLE!!! The room wasn't Clean, hair in the bathroom. I would never stay here again. The lady at the desk was friendly though!

Clean, comfortable and the service was all great. The only complaint that I have is that the air conditioner made a loud noise every time it kicked on and woke me up several times during the night. Otherwise I was very satisfied.

The room was clean and comfortable. However, the walls looked like they could use a fresh coat of paint. It was roomy and not crowded. It was quiet and comfortable to just sit and relax. Nice staff and inside where pool and rest. are. Rooms and parking lots were not so good. I was on the back side of hotel and it was scarey!! Rooms had wallpaper coming off, vents were not clean and need a complete over haul.

My mom and I booked this hotel at the last minute and we really enjoyed our stay. We were there for a weekend and it was great. The staff was friendly, the pool and hot tub were amazing (my mom thought the pool was a little cold but I thought it was perfect). In addition, the hot and cold breakfast buffet was an added bonus. It sure beats a continental […] breakfast. And most importantly, it is in a good location-we felt very safe and it was easy to find. I think that the hotel offers a lot for the reasonable price. When we got to our room laundry was piled in front of it half way up the door . We could not get in until all the laundry was moved by a cleaning lady. the carpet needed sweeping, wallpaper was peeling off the wall in bathroom, no water pressure in shower, shower curtain bearly hanging on rod, one lamp switch broken. Musty, old smoke smell in an area that was non-smoking. Bathtub would not drain and toilet would not quit running unless you took the tank lid off and juggled the parts. We had a great stay here while moving my daughter to the area. The Bobbisox lounge was very enjoyable. There is a dress code for the lounge, and I would recommend checking that before going. We will Definately visit them again.

There was no ice machine anywhere on my floor, even though it showed one to be right next to my room on the map of the hotel layout. The room was not dirty, but I did find a pen underneath the sink that didn't belong to the hotel, unsure of how long it had been there. This was a great location for our needs, right off 540, close to the university. The only drawback was the construction related to the road/highway, but it really wasn't too bad. I requested a non-smoking room when I reserved the room through Hotels.com. When I checked in, the hotel clerk said they had us down for a smoking room. When I showed them my print-out reflecting a non-smoking room, he blamed Hotels.com. He said it happened all the time and I should just make reservations directly.
