On the outside the hotel is outdated. But I was surprised with my room. The bed was pretty comfy. The breakfast is better than most hotels. They could update the bathroom. Some things could be better, but for the price in the city, it is a good deal.

My mother & I were very disappointed. With being tired from traveling, I expected a warm greeting. When I walked into the lobby, I was told to go around the corner. I did not receive a greeting or anything. I looked at her with a confused look & she just repeated it. When I came around, I asked the other gentleman where do I check in & he assisted me. […] Her excuse was that she thought I was with a party that was going on. One should not have assumed anything but that I am a customer checking in unless I've volunteered any other information. I did not feel completely comfortable with the location of the hotel and with it being behind buildings. At night, we could hear children and dogs through the vents. My mother & I located the ice and vending machine in a very dimly alley. Curtains had masking tape to keep it together, there was some type of smudge on my bed, and there was no pot for the coffee maker! The lady at the check in desk was rude right from the start. She insulted me by saying smart people check in a three.. This was at six when I checked in!! She didn't smile or say thank you or anything!! We were only supplied with two bath towels for four people then when I called to get more she said "you will have to come get them!". Our friend is in the hospital and we wanted to have a room close to hospital and also budget-friendly. Room was clean and had all basic items plus microwave and small refrigerator. Great rates, went for college graduation and had easy access to all restaurants, college campus, river street, and malls, Would recommend this hotel to everyone whether your stay is business or leisure. Will definitely be staying again.

this property was not clean. Although I think they're trying. It has potential and is under new management. Our room had a coffee maker but no caraffe(pot). When I inquired about getting one they said they didn't have any. I love my coffee in the mornings.

What is a typical, older motel is an ok alternative to paying the big bucks in historic Savannah. This was fine for a 1 night stay. The breakfast was quite good and helped get our day started.

Overall, it was okay, there was a musty odor outside near the pool, smelled like sewage back up. The front desk personnel was frendly but when we need towels, we had to go get them. But it was a last minute trip during spring break, so we had to accept what was available.

The two of us stayed here this past weekend. The room was filthy! This hotel is beyond dirty. After looking at 3 rooms we thought we had a clean room. We were wrong. We were fooled by the fact that the room was newly painted and the bed covers looked clean/new. We moved in and after getting settled I pulled down the bed cover to discover brown colored stains on the bottom sheet. It is unimaginable to us that someone […] would put that sheet on a bed and not see these stains and think that any client would find it acceptable. Due to the lateness of the hour we decided to stay anyway but would never recommend this place to anyone. The one bright note was the new clerk at the front desk could not have been more caring or kinder. She was new and had no idea how dirty the rooms were in general. The hotel stay was good, however I left my iphone charger in the room and called back numerous times but got no results I left my number but did not get a call. one clerk said to me call back the next day and the other clerk said they would return my call but never did.

We were three friends traveling to see Savannah; this hotel is bit further away from the downtown area than expected. When we arrived at check-in, close to 5pm, the rooms were still being cleaned and weren't ready yet. The staff were pleasant, but seemed stressed and overwhelmed. The room was dirty-- dead bugs, a sock that was left over, grimy bathrooms, […] etc. The rooms are pretty run down and in desperate need of remodeling. We stayed in a non-smoking room, but could smell smoke from people smoking in the courtyard right outside our room. Pros: the beds were comfortable, there was a big screen TV, plenty of free parking, and breakfast was pretty good. We stayed for a weekend, and we didn't have any troubles. The man at the reception desk was really friendly, though room service knocked on the door even with the Do Not Disturb sign up. Overall, a good stay.

it was okay the room we were put in the bathroom door was broke so my daughter got stuck in there where it took 10 min to try to get her out. The bolt on the door was broke. And Tv did not work when we first got there. That after unpacking half our stuff we had to ask for another room and repack.
