Holiday Inn Golden Gateway - Сан-Франциско

Когда я позвонил чтобы объяснить проблему, меня первоначально направили позвонить по номеру технической поддержки (никаких "Мы сожалеем" -- просто сухое "Позвоните в поддержку") в которой сказали, мне проверить соединение в вестибюле, чтобы подтвердить, что проблема именно в моем номере. Я сделал это и позвонил портье. Мне сказали, что я могу принести компьютер в вестибюль, или они могут переключить меня к другому номеру в котором соединение " возможно лучше " И когда я счел данный способ неадекватным, и что работающее соединение было часть заказа (в противном случае я бы конечно не бронировал проживание), мне был предложен напиток или десерт в ресторане (снова, не особо помогло) Я попросил поговорить с управляющим, который появился после получаса ожидания в вестибюле, когда мне уже пришлось поинтересоваться что же происходит.(Общее время потраченное на решение данной проблемы - практически 2 часа) Управляющий, Кен, не особо извинялся и отказал в какой-либо скидке, потому что не работал ключевой сервис. он заявил, что беспроводной интернет "дополнение", а не "гарантированная услуга". Мы забронировали две ночи в Holiday Inn Golden Gateway, но когда мы туда добрались поздним вечером, нам было сказано, что нет свободных номеров. Мы могли найти отель самостоятельно или поехать в отель, который они для нас выбрали за пределами Сан-Франциско. Другого выбора не было. Иными словами, мы заплатили, чтобы остановиться в деловом районе Сан-Франциско, […] но пришлось остановиться в пригороде. Определенно рекомендую этот отель, если вы приезжаете в Сан-Франциско. Удобства и обслуживание были превосходными. Плюс у них была парковка на территории отеля, которую иногда трудно найти в отелях Сан-Франциско. Я бы остановился здесь снова!

Отель расположен в центре, не очень далеко от большинства мест. 20 минут вниз по склону к Fisherman's Wharf, но большую часть пути назад приходится подниматься! Наш номер был вполне хорош, кроме нескольких вещей, которые я не вполне могу объяснить: вместо письменного стола был стол и два стула, и не было микроволновки, но был мини-холодильник. great Location

Bed was comfy, but the room was only about 10 sq ft larger than the bed... Did have a view and a tub, which was great. Pool was outdoor but heated perfectly.

hard to say, the place had so much going on private prom parties, etc, it was impossible to get any service, parking, etc. I will say this the employees were trying their best to overcome the crush of people and chaos.

The hotel is conveniently located at the end of the California cable car route and close to a range of family friendly restaurants. The outside pool is heated but due to the size of the hotel often in the shade and windy. We had a good view of the city from our east facing room which was clean and comfortable. Always nice to find a fridge and free WiFi […] in the room. Parking is v expensive at $43/ day but at least we had full access to the car to explore the western half of the city less well served by public transport. I would recommend the Holiday Inn Golden Gateway based on very reasonable room rate and central location. Подробнее

Hotel was ok, I didn't like the fact that... Surprise! parking was so expensive. (We were there for 4 nights) $39.00 + tax per night i thought was too much considering the parking structure, very limited spaces for suvs n trucks

Stayed at this hotel because I was taking the Customs Broker Exam there. Would hope that CBP would select a more appropriate venue in the future in a better area without the seedy clientelle. Was charged a ridiculous fee for one night's parking.

Three of us stayed here for 2 nights over the weekend and were extremely pleased. The location was ideal for buses going up Van Ness and the California cable car on California St. We felt safe walking at night, although I wouldn't walk south as you start getting close to the Tenderloin district. My 2 cats and I were suddenly displaced from our apartment when simple repairs turned extensive. Being a single woman with pets I was aprehensive about finding a quick, safe, accomodating place with a reasonable price tag. As luck (and a very understanding operator at hotels.com) would have it, I was directed to the Gateway Holiday Inn in San Francisco. […] I could not have made a more perfect choice. My cats and I had a lovely stay. The staff is friendly, courteous, and the hotel is safe, clean, and quiet. It is very convenient to many bus lines and one cable car line is on the corner, and the location is central to many diverse and interesting neighborhoods and tourist attractions. There is even a Starbuck's and a Wells Fargo next door. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel and will be directing out-of-town guests here. Подробнее

The first thing you do when you get to a hotel is check in. Unfortunately the person who checked us in didn't know the English launguge very well. It was hard to communicate with her. And it might have been okay if she was nice. But there wanst even a friendly smile. Second I paid a few dollars for two days for her to tell me that she was all out of […] rooms with a king size bed. Her remedy for this was to put us in a room with a handicap bath room. It just wasn't the same. It's a lot of money for us not to get what we paid for. Other then that things were nice. Great hotel stay and service. We lost our luggage, but fortunately, both day and night shifts worked diligently to find our missing luggage with EVERYTHING still intact (credit cards, cash, jewelry, etc.) What a wonderful and honest group of staff members! I was Driving my car from Toronto, to LA. On the way I stayed at about 7 hotels. out of all, this was unsatisfactory to the extend to spend time in writing this. when I booked, the web site wanted to know whether I need breakfast. I said yes.( additional price involved- I said ok)The web site asked how many guest. I said 4. After reaching counter, […] the staff said they would provide breakfast for 2 only and we have to pay for the other 2 members of our family. The coffee in room was not enough for 4. The staff refused to send the 2 breakfast to room. There was no coffee in front reception lobby. Car park was charged $ 48 for one day. This is much higher than surrounding area. A large hotel with garage, but at the higher room rates and garage fees. Security is cumbersome and annoying. Room was clean and comfortable, but small and, even though 11 stories up, noisy from the street traffic. Breakfast OK, but average in content and quality. Basically, an average hotel with higher than average rates.

The service beyond was horrible and rude

We needed a hotel near an event venue in San Francisco and the Holiday Inn fit the bill perfectly. It was an easy walk to the event at the Regency Ball Room .The staff was friendly, and helpfully supplied us with maps and a list of eateries within walking distance of the hotel. This hotel is your average hotel, overall suitable to stay in for sure. The only thing our room didn't have was curtains, perhaps it was just that one room. The location is really great, just behind Pold Street, very artsy, lots of pubs, shops and things to do within all walking distance. You're one block away from the trolley cars too. Surprised at how nice this hotel was. The bed was comfortable with plenty of pillows, clean and quiet. It was even possible to open the window for fresh air. The only think I didn't like about this property was the location. Be prepared for a long walk (on some steep hills) to Union Square or Chinatown. Fisherman's wharf you will need to take the cable cars, bus or cab.

Title sums it up: This is a good hotel (excellent staff, however) very conveniently located (depending on what you want to see and where you want to go), at a great rate. Whole Foods 1 block away has an excellent food bar for lunch or dinner.

This place is good for a one or two night stay, its in a pretty convenient location right next to a wellsfargo, starbucks, wholefoods market, and a guitar center which i liked:) Its a good place for the price considering what the other options are. DO NOT PAY FOR PARKING!! They charge $40 to park overnight. Right next to the hotel is a starbucks on […] California street, if you go up california there is a parking garage and if you get in there before 10pm its only $10 overnight. I checked in after 10pm and instead found TONS of street parking, I just had to get up around 9am to move my car for street cleaning. It was a 2 min walk to the hotel and it was free. This was an incredible hotel. The stay was very comfortable. Also It is located many resteraunts and bars, and one of the best sushi places I have ever eaten, sushi rock. Anyways I will gladly stay here again at the holiday inn.

Upon arrival to our room, we noticed immediately the bed was caved down the middle. Then as we took a shower later in the evening, the hot water only lasted for 5 minutes. Which was odd because the faucet had hot water up till that point. We waited another hour and a half for the water to turn luke warm before we attempted to shower again. We had no […] hot water problem the remainder of our stay. As a Priority Rewards member, we opted for late checkout (2pm). My husband took the luggage with him to the car when he left in the morning. I met with a friend for lunch without checking out since I knew I would want to clean up before leaving. As I returned after lunch, I discovered our room completely cleaned and cleared out. I was irate that they would clear out our room while i was still checked in! Who does goes through guests' rooms while they are still staying there?! I had left dried fruit, other snacks, and my prenatal vitamins in the room. None of which are cheap. I walked downstairs to the counter and they contacted the cleaning service and the maid swore nothing was in the room. The lady behind the counter indicated that I was wrong. She continued to blame me THREE TIMES that it was my fault since I didn't leave a luggage in the room to show it was still being used. Seriously? I asked for late checkout and it's not even 2pm. Then you take a pregnant woman's vitamins and snacks and then tell her she's not only lying about having food left in her room, but that she should have left her luggage to carry herself?? I couldn't even use the restroom since the room was cleaned up! We were traveling and I don't have the luxury of going to my pantry to get more vitamins or snacks. Hotel was overall excellent. Great location, very well-lighted and secure (need room card to access elevator), convenient and practical driveway that allows you to bring your car off the main Van Ness Blvd. Only problem was one desk person who gave me a hard time when I asked for a credit on 1-day's parking because we only parked a car for one day. […] I even gave him our ticket to show we only parked one night, but he would not even look at the ticket until another desk person told him that I had a ticket to prove we only parked one night.
