Location.
The Georgian Court Hotel, a European-style property, is located across from the BC Place and near the Rogers Arena. This hotel stands one block from Queen Elizabeth Theatre and NHL Hockey at Rogers Arena, and is three blocks from Gastown, Chinatown, and Yaletown. Skytrain Station is located less than two blocks from this property.
Hotel Features.
The Frankies Italian Kitchen Restaurant offers Italian cuisine. Beatty Street Bar and Grill showcases 15 big-screen televisions and a roster of beer and burger favorites. The Bistro is open daily. This hotel provides an on-site fitness center with "Life Fitness" cardiovascular and strength equipment. The hotel's spa contains a spa tub and a steam room. Massages and facials may be requested at the spa, or within the privacy of guests' rooms.
Guestrooms.
The Georgian Court Hotel features 180 Robert Ledingham-designed guestrooms in a 12-story brick building. Rooms include traditional furnishings, duvets and pillow-top mattresses, crown moldings, wooden baseboards, and windows that open. Subtle harvest hues blend harmoniously with fabric tapestries, fine furnishings, and paintings by British Columbia artists. Accommodations provide three telephones, satellite television, and complimentary high-speed Internet access. Bathrooms are stocked with Aveda bath products.

The beds are so comfortable, and the bathrooms are well laid out with everything you need. The restaurant is very nice and their service was excellant.

If you are coming to Van city for the hockey, football, or a show at the QE theatre, then this location is ace. And Frankies restaraunt next door isnt bad either.

Overall a great experience. Please be aware that they building another hotel immediately behind the Georgian Court. The drilling into bedrock starting at 8:00 am did not allow for sleeping in. Of course, not fault of the Georgian Court, but this info may help you decide to stay. cheers

"Georgian Court Hotel, Vancouver one minute to BC P"
A nice hotel, good, friendly service. Ideal if you are attending a function at BC Place, Rogers Ice rink or for access to False Creek. It was fine, however I (who stay in hotels on business regularly) don't get the 'luxury' part. The rooms are just fine, but 'upper end ordinary' would be a better description than 'luxury'.

"great place to stay"
This is a great hotel !
Disappointed that it cost us $10 per night for parking. With the price of the hotel, this should have been included. Probably would not go there for a long stay because of this.
"Home Away From Home"
I stayed in the deluxe double and it was a decent size. The hotel is located right across from Roger's Arena and lots of shopping downtown. I attended the Nutcracker performance at the Centre. It was a five minute walk. The beds were very comfortable. I didn't want to get up. Great location, kind staff, and elegant.

Good bed, view of football stadium from top floor room. A bit of a walk for most things in town. Only hotel on trip with a kettle as well as a coffee machine. Good service helpful staff and breakfast reasonable in linked restaurant. Must come into its own for football or ice hockey events. Nothing outstanding just a decent place to stay.

We stayed here for one night of our honeymoon. We went to a hockey game and the location was perfect! The service was excellent and the room and view was great! I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to other people heading to Vancouver.
