В гостинице The Mayfair Spa and Hotel мы остановились на неделю, с 23 по 30 июля 2011 года. Гостиница располагается в местечке Cocowalk, что очень близко с ресторанами, барами, магазинами и кинотеатром. Персонал был очень услужливый и дружелюбный. Пол, директор спа-салона, оказался очень хорошим человеком. Если бы нужно было пожаловаться на что-либо, то я бы отметил то, что в комнатах присутствует ощущение сырости, и пол могли бы мыть почаще. Каждый вечер нам приходилсоь мыть ноги перед сном, так как они были грязными от хождения без обуви. Я отлично провел здесь время! Удачное расположение гостиницы открывало большие возможности для приятного времяпрепровождения в её близи. В этой гостинице класса люкс имелся великолепный спа-салон, а также бассейн, располагавшийся на крыше. Однако предлагаемые услуги оказались намного дороже ожидаемого. В целом, место стоит посетить!

Номер в гостинице The Mayfair я забронировал больше месяца назад. Сделав предоплату на сайте hotels.com, я зарезервировал комнату с большой кроватью. А в итоге получил двуспальный номер. Когда я позвонил администратору, чтобы поменять номер, мне сказали, что все номера с большими кроватями заняты, но пообещали дать комнату улучшенного типа. Новый номер […] оказался чуть больше обычного, что мне было без надобности. Администратор нам тоже ничего не сказал по этому поводу, когда мы проходили процедуру регистрации в гостинице. На телефонной панели всё время мигала лампочка о входящем сообщении, но сама кнопка прослушивания сообщений не работала. Поэтому, чтобы избавиться от этой раздражающей лампочки, мы просто выключили телефон из розетки. Кроме того, в комнате не было фена, и нам пришлось два раза звонить администратору, чтобы принесли фен. Когда мы легли спать, то с удивлением обнаружили в кровати пару чьих-то носков (не наших и не сувенир от администрации гостиницы). Что еще хуже, когда мы выезжали, администратор поинтересовался нашим мнением о гостинице, и мы всё ему рассказали. Ситуацию с телефоном и феном я еще мог бы пережить, но терпеть чьи-то грязные носки я был не намерен. Однако, было уже очень поздно, и мы легли на другую кровать. Администратор извинился и спросил, что он мог бы сделать, чтобы загладить ситуацию. Но было поздно, мы уже выселялись. Хуже всего оказалось то, что этот товарищ решил еще содрать с нас деньги за парковку и бутылку воды из мини-бара. Вместо того, чтобы сказать "Прошу прощения, вы можете не оплачивать стоянку за эту ночь, а бутылка с водой вам в подарок", он говорит, что мы должны еще 35 баксов. В нормальном отеле не стали бы учитывать парковку и мини-бар, и не спрашивали бы перед этим, как им загладить ситуацию. Они бы просто сделали как нужно, а потом бы спросили, всё ли нас устраивает. Если бы администратор поступил именно так, то я бы оставил положительный отзыв о гостинице. В Майями по той же цене можно найти гостиницу получше. Подробнее

В целом, "Mayfair Hotel & Spa" был великолепным местом для нашего отдыха. Особый шарм придавало соседство с местными ресторанами и магазинами. Персонал отеля очень дружелюбен и готов дать хороший совет об окрестностях. Плюсы: Огромные просторные комнаты, дружелюбный персонал, уединенная атмосфера, на крыше -- прекрасный бассейн с баром, рядом с магазинами […] и ресторанами. Отель красивый, номер большой и действительно приятный, ТВ в ванной комнате. Я заказал эту гостиницу из-за джакузи, но наша джакузи была сломана снизу и пуста, и они даже не дали нам знать об этом. Я действительно хотел бы полюбить этот отель, но внешнего вида недостаточно, чтобы преодолеть очень плохие стороны. Мы поселились там, и произошли два события, (1) бассейн и патио на крыше закрыты по причине "непогоды", но погода была фантастической - я местный, я знаю, (2) они дали нам номер представительского класса в стадии ремонта, то есть там […] были пылесосы, оборудование для полировки пола и пыль везде. Они предоставили нам номер люкс - здорово! В номере, который они дали нам, было приятно, но когда вы выходите на патио, там - большая площадка около 2,5 х 3,5 м.(место для сада), вся в земле и грязи. В соседнем номере были милые тропические растения. У нас наполнялась ванна, и вместо того, чтобы принести хорошей соли для ванн, парень наливает в воду ШАМПУНЬ! Войдя, мы увидели ванну с грязной пеной через край. На следующий день было дождливо, и я попросил консьержку порекомендовать - чем заняться. Она сказала мне, что в Майами нечего делать, когда идёт дождь, ПРАВДА. Я спросил о музее науки, она ответила: "это музей". Она даже не вспомнила о кинотеатре или Comedy Club на другой стороне улицы. Предполагаю, она является худшим консьержем всех времен или просто называется менеджером. Я действительно разочаровался в этом отеле. Знаю, у некоторых действительно хороший опыт, и я делал ставку на это. Но мой опыт был плох, и, возможно, это нормально. Я не вернусь сюда, и я не буду рекомендовать этот отель друзьям, (разве только тем, кто мне не нравится). The rooms in the Hotel Mayfair are beautifully appointed. The style is very appealing. The swimming pool on the top of the hotel is lovely and if you have children with you, very, very welcome. This was a reunion trip with my 2 girlfriends I'd not seen in 20 years & I can't think of a nicer hotel to spend it in. The rooftop pool & bar were just beautiful in the evening with the skyline of Miami. My stay was excellent. My room was an Executive Double. The room was a lot larger than I was expecting; one of the largest rooms I've stayed in, compared to your standard hotel room. The room has a large flat screen tv and a small flat screen in the bathroom. Both have extended premium cable channels (MTV, HBO, etc.) The beds were extremely comfortable […] - and I am a VERY picky sleeper. Pillows were just right, bedsheets were soft. The room also had a living room area (sofa, loveseat, end tables, regular table) followed by a balcony with a 2 person hot tub and a padded lounge chair. They charge you $30 to set up the hot tub but you can save that money and do it yourself. Just open the small side door and adjust the water and temperature. The room was quite and very well kept. Also, it's right in the middle to CocoWalk. I would stay here again.... for special occasions since it is a little hefty on the wallet, but once you visit the hotel, you'll know why. Excellent Hotel! The service at this hotel was outstanding, and most of the staff consistently went above and beyond. I would definitely stay here again! The biggest "con" was that it was a little noisy. Definitely recommend this place!

Beautiful facility and excellant customer service. Nice place to stay for rest and relaxation.

This was my second time staying at the Mayfair. The first time we were blown away by what a great place it was for the price. The seecond time there I was no less impressed with the quality of the hotel. First it's in a fantastic location. Lots of shopping and dining right across the street and within blocks of the hotel. It's very tranquil with an open air atrium and plenty of spaces to sit, listen to the running water within the facility, and soak in the tranquility. The rooms are wonderful as well with enormous japanese style hot tubs in every room and modern stylings throughout. It is a very nice location--right next to Coconut Grove, which provided us many things to do. The hotel itself is really beautiful. The stuff are friendly and nice. We recommend this place to everyone.

We had a nice night at the mayfair. Japanese style hot tub was a +++ just awesome. Great room service and employees charisma was notable. Extra charge for minibar, hot tub and miscellaneous stuff( toothbrush , wines, snacks,etc) great hotel overall for a romantic stay...not for party people

The shower tub needs to be reviewed. One end is the shower head and a protective pexiglass wall to avoid spashing. No way you can control the water without geting your Hair all wet. Also there is an incline as you enter the tub and you can almost fall. It happens to our friends also. This is a danger to all. The Mayfair has romantic personality. The interior courtyard, with quiet pools and lush greenery is lovely and a focal point of the hotel. Too bad the rooms don't open on it. Instead they all face streets, which are noisy almost 24/7 thanks to the clubs and CocoWalk next door. We changed rooms after the first night. The new room was a little better, […] not being opposite an HVAC across the way, but still far from quiet. Room appointments are near, but not quite, luxurious. The big flat screen is jammed on a too small dresser that abuts the window, making it hard to draw or open the curtains. The TV couldn't turn all of the way toward the bed even if the stand had swiveled. The in-room jacuzzi might have been great, but there is no way to light the space at night (and no way to close the blinds above it during the day). Plus the jacuzzi faucet had a major leak. Little things subtracted from what might otherwise have been a four-star experience. The Mayfair is a nice hotel in a high-energy area. It's not what it could be though. Подробнее

The internet is very slow. Don't even think about using the business center, the computer is obsolete. We were there for over 45 minutes and did not get anywhere, just needed to print something. We got charged for the services we did not get anyway. Talk to the assistant manager and she said that the business center is run by a separate company, so […] they did not take any responsibility for the service. The hotel brings the tropical outdoors inside with beautiful open to the sky areas in the lobby and a covered balcony off each room, all with lush foliage. Rooms are spacious and well appointed. The rooftop pool and bar area is a must to see even if you don't have time for a swim. very good hotel,best location in the area. the staff top of the line. my room was #537. only one inconvenience, the bed was noise. i still recommend this hotel as one of the best.

Although by now somewhat in need of an update this is a great hotel with fabulous staff - would recommend it

I went with my sisters for a four day getaway. The hotel was so clean and comfortable and the food and surrounding shopping areas were great too. I would definitly recommend to someone as well as visit again.

For the price (a 50% off bargain deal) it was acceptable, but my experience didn't match the pictures/description online. The people at the hotel were nice, but not very helpful - they were out of non-feather pillows, balcony hot tub wasn't filled after requesting it in person at front desk, never got extra towels (ended up taking some from pool area), […] and called downstairs for ice and it never arrived (the ice situation is aggravating - ice machine is on certain floors behind a door marked "Pantry - Employees Only" - ended up getting myself anyway). The hotel was great itself, the rooms very nice and well stocked. The layout is interesting in that you are outside until you enter your room. Each room has a suite name and custom design that I found to be nice. The balcony is very private and is where the Japanese Soaking Tub was. Although the balcony is technically outside (in our suite) it is walled […] off just 6 feet from the edge. You can see sunlight if you look up, but a wall if you look out. This was fine with us because the balcony would look straight in to the suite and ruin the private feel. The soaking tub has to be requested to be filled and there was a one-time charge for that. The only real gripe we had was the parking. If you park in the "Mayfair Hotel" parking (not using the valet at the front door" you will be charged $24 per day. I was a little dissapointed to find that the Mayfair hotel was not affiliated with the Mayfair Hotel parking garage... so no reduced rate or validation. I never checked into it, but the valet is probably not any better. Overall, the great location and very private rooms would lead me to suggest this to anyone wanting to be in the heart of the Coconut Grove area. Подробнее

a bit old and noisy but beautiful hotel, original style. lounge bar on the roof very pleasant. our room was on level 5, and music coming from the roof bar can disturb there was a wedding on this saturday so lot of noise , but only till 1am. old jaccuzzi on the balcony : not really attractive

I had been to events here before but had never stayed here. Love this hotel! I was upgraded to a beautiful Jr Suite with a zen terrace that included a great hot tub outdoors. Very nice- I recommend it highly- not to mention you are walking distance to everything in Coconut Grove....
